** Dannie's pov **
After getting rudely woken up by my alarm and painfully slowly dragging my suitcase towards the front doorway. I got dressed in a tank-top bodysuit that formed into shorts at the bottom and threw over a random gray hoodie over top of it. Throwing on a pair of white nike socks and grabbing the pair of shoes that I had set aside and made my way towards the front door again.
Shoving my feet into my white nike sneakers and just tucking in the laces next to my feet, I was too lazy to actually tie them right now.
Watching the clock on my phone switch over from three-fifty-nine to four in the morning really just made me realize how tired I was. I don't know why but actually seeing the time change makes my body want to go back to sleep even more than I already did.
Standing up straight, grabbing my black backpack with a cute little cinnamoroll plush keychain attached to one of the zippers, and glancing around my New York apartment.
After I felt relaxed enough to finally start walking out of the door and leave for who knows how long, I opened my front door and carelessly pushed my suitcases out into the hallway.
Just as I closed and locked my door I heard the elevator ding open, "Oh Dannie! Are you heading back to London?" one of my neighbors questioned with a kind smile.
Birdie Russo was a big time lawyer for the state of New York and once in a while worked for the District Attorney's office. In other words she was loaded but continued to live in our building for whatever reason. She was also one of the kindest souls I had ever met.
Smiling and sending a small wave her way, "Uh- yes I am. I have no clue when I will be back but I will miss you whilst I am gone." I softly spoke.
I could tell by the forming bags under eye and the fact that it is in the early hours of the morning that she had just gotten off work and was more than likely preparing for another one of her cases, "Make sure you're getting some sleep Birdie, you don't want to pass out from exhaustion in front of the court house." I playfully said to her.
Her eyes squinted at me before closing the door of her apartment. Finally managing to get both of my suitcases into the elevator and pressing the button for the lobby.
By the time I arrived at the lobby it was four-fifteen. I let out a slight breath while reaching for my phone in my pocket and was right about to call a car company when someone cleared their throat in front of me.
Looking up immediately I smiled at the familiar security guard, "Miss Kim, do you need help with anything?" Frank questioned with a small smile on his lips
Oh my god, the amount of relief that ran through my body knowing that a person entirely stronger than me could help me move my ton of luggage was unreal. Hurriedly I nodded my head, "Please! I'm heading back to London for a bit so my luggage is extremely heavy. I just need to get them to a car and then I am good on my own!" I said graciously towards the man.

** time skip **
Watching out of the window of the blacked out SUV I noticed the luxurious looking jet sitting out on the runway.
The driver looked up in the mirror and made eye contact with me, "Is this for you ma'am?" he questioned with a slight tilt of his head.
Nodding my head with a smile and motioning back towards the jet, "Yeah, I-uh got invited to a special event and they decided to fly me out I guess." muttering towards the end. I didn't want to seem like I was bragging about being flown out on a private jet by some obviously luxury business.
The man nodded his head and pulled up to the entrance of the gate, "Well I hope that you have a very good day ma'am." he spoke plainly.
Smiling at him and waving goodbye before walking towards the trunk, starting to pull my suitcases out and setting them down on the tarmac. As I closed the trunk door, it quickly sped off and back towards the exit.
What the- okay I guess. That was strange but whatever.
Wrapping my hands around both handles of the suitcases I started pushing them with me as I got closer and closer to the jet. A man stepped out of the jet and smiled when he saw me making my way towards him.
"Hello! I'm going to be your flight attendant this morning, can I help you bring your luggage onto the jet?" the dark skinned man asked me with an even brighter smile on his face.
Quickly nodding my head at the thought of having to carry both of them up the small stairs of the jet, "Please. I've been struggling with them all morning. My fault for living in two different countries." I chuckled.
The man nodded his head and grabbed my luggage from my hands, "So why are you going to Monaco?" he questioned me as he motioned for me to go up the stairs.
My eyes widening as I took in everything on the jet that McLaren had set up for me, there was a whole breakfast laid out on the table in front of my seat and a bottle of something sitting in an ice bucket.
"Ma'am" his voice sounded out through the cabin of the jet.
Breaking me out of my trance, my head spun back around to look at him with an embarrassed grimace, "Sorry. I'm getting flown out by McLaren racing for the upcoming Grand Prix this weekend. Special guest." I told him with an obvious nervous look in my eyes.
The flight attendant nodded his head and gestured for me to sit down, "Please, if you need anything just let me know. My name is Justin by the way." he informed me before walking towards the cockpit.
Glancing back at the food on the table and then jumping towards the bottle in the ice bucket, "Wait-uh is that alcoholic?" I questioned quickly.
Justin turned my way and shook his head, "No Ma'am it isn't, whoever booked this for you specifically instructed that there would be no alcohol served to you. It is non-alcoholic champagne." he spoke before turning back the way he came.
As I sat down and looked at the warm pile of french toast covered in powdered sugar and an assortment of mixed berries, I made a note to thank my manager later when I landed.
Deciding that I wouldn't start eating until we took off and was actually in the air, I laid back and tried to get comfortable.
This was going to be a long flight alone.
