** third person pov **

Everyone involved or a fan of Formula 1 had known for a while and completely discovered that the Las Vegas Grand Prix was not going to go well. After Carlos Sainz practically destroyed the bottom of his car on an uncovered manhole cover it pretty much just set it in stone.

But it was the official race day. Well night as the race was taking place at ten o'clock at night for some reason.

The race had just started and the typical rush was even more prevalent with the rush of the Las Vegas strip. Well that was until Lap three. Everything changed for the newest couple on the paddock in just seconds.

Lando's car seemingly bottomed out and spun out into the unused part of the track. The McLaren garage went dead silent. Nobody said anything except for his racing engineer asking if he was okay.

"Lando, are you okay?".

The Korean singer's lungs released a heavy shaking breath when she heard his voice coming out of the speakers.

"Yeah, all good.".

Her eyes never left the screen that was locked on the crash of her boyfriend. His body was shaking and it was very obvious to everyone watching that he was in some amount of pain. The only thing that broke her gaze was a gentle hand placing itself on her shoulder, "Dannie, I'll have someone take you up to the hospital okay? He's going to be okay." Jon Malvern spoke softly.

No one in the garage dared to speak to the woman. They couldn't imagine what she was thinking right now. If they were concerned for their driver and more than likely a friend, surely his own girlfriend would be ten times more distraught.

Dannie nodded her head and slowly started collecting her things. Her movements were painfully slow but if you looked close enough her hands were shaking like a leaf in the wind.

Inside the seemingly collected woman's mind she was a wreck. Of course she knew that this was a part of their jobs. That there was always a chance that they could crash or have some sort of accident with the speeds that they were traveling. But that doesn't mean that she would ever be prepared for it to happen.

** Dannie's pov **

After saying a rushed goodbye to the McLaren staff member that had driven me up to the hospital, I practically sprinted into the main lobby. With the assumption that he was already getting all of the tests done I slowed myself down just slightly.
