Fixing Clexa's story to give them an ending they deserved (an *ending, not the journey they deserved). They are clearly endgame but it turned into a bit more of an adult-themed journey to get there so just a warning it takes a slightly dark turn ar...

There's a whole crowd gathered in the throne room when Lexa finally descends down from the roof, covered in black blood. With a single motion of her hand, the guards previously stationed on the roof all begin filing back up the stairs to their posts.
"Nou teik her die." She barks at them, "Teik the rest gon her teeth seintaim."
Lincoln steps to the front of the group that is left, concerned. He had seen the commander in plenty of battles or carrying out death sentences but always sensed the reluctance for bloodshed, knowing she did so only as a last resort, or because that was their way, that was what their laws demanded. It was always evident she was violent only when she had to be.
The darkness in her eyes now though, he could see this was a violence she wanted. A violence she needed. Violence she craved. He worried she was falling into a hole she could not get out of.
Lexa strolls passed everyone without any acknowledgement, so he follows behind her.
"Commander." He says steadily, and Lexa hears the protectiveness - like a big brother - in his tone.
When they are in the elevator she feels his eyes on him.
"I'm fine, Lincoln." She sighs, wiping off her face a little with her sleeves.
"Oh yeah it sure looks like it." He says with playful sarcasm.
When they step off the elevator onto Clarke's floor, Lincoln gets nervous again.
"Commander, you shouldn't be here like this." Gesturing at her face, covered in Ontari's blood.
Lexa hold her hand up, and gestures to keep his voice down.
"I just want to make sure she's okay, I won't go in." She whispers as she reaches Clarke's door, straining for any sounds. She's relieved to at least not hear crying anymore.

It sounds like they are sitting in the bed. She can hear Octavia's voice, repeating to Clarke that everything will be okay, and that it's just a matter of time, and that there are so many people here for her, to support her however she needs.
