((Frantic banging on the door))

Both girls instantly tear their bodies away from each other, Clarke drops to the floor on the far side of the bed, pulling the fur blanket halfway off to cover herself.  Lexa stands on the other side, her body wrapped in the topsheet, "WHO'S THERE?!" she beckons.

As if the last 12hours weren't enough of a rollercoaster for Lexa, her head cocks to the side perplexed as the person rushes in, and she stares at the grown face of a ghost she hadn't seen in almost 10yrs since her conclave.

"Luna?!"

Lexa grabs her clothes from her floor, mentally bombarded with questions but she can tell something has happened with how quickly the girl turns to shut the doors behind her.   "How are you here?" Lexa probes.

"Fate is funny that way." She says with a wink, eyeing Lexa up and down grinning, "Well well, look at you, Hedaaa" she exaggerates, playfully bowing.

Clarke peeks around the edge of the bed at the stranger, perhaps a tad older than Lexa, surveying her wild wavy auburn hair and piercing dark eyes under thick brows, wondering who exactly she is to Lexa, and why she's never seen her before.

"What happened?" Demands Lexa as she gets her arms through her shirt and checks her peripheral if Clarke is still hidden.

"What happened is if you want to live we need to get the hell out of here right now." The girl says, as she grabs Lexa's arm and heads for the only other exit from the room – in the back behind the bed.

As she turns the corner of the bed and spots the blonde crouched naked, clinging to the fur blanket, Clarke stands, covers still in hand, shifting her eyes between Lexa and the stranger unsure what to do or say.

"Well now that....makes sense."  Luna chuckles as she nods at Lexa.  Lexa's cheeks flush, a sheepish smile overtaking her as she scoops up Clarke's clothes to hand her.

Clarke hastily throws her clothes on, as the other girls check that the back route is clear.  The commander's chambers is the only room in the tower with its own way to the ground without needing the elevator or central tunnel.  Lexa leads them scrambling single-file down a long ladder where they drop into a tunnel barely wide enough to fit even their slender frames.  They shuffle down a series of mostly more long ladders, connected by short tunnels and the rare staircase, hearing commotion through the walls on each floor.

The voices shouting in Trig are muffled, but all are the same – irate.  Lexa must've understood at least some of it because she pauses to look back at Clarke when they reach a fork in the path at the bottom, and Clarke can see something she's never seen in those green eyes before: fear. She looks to Luna, then at the two paths in front of them, and Luna quickly shoos them to the left, "You go that way, I'll draw them away."

Lexa protests, telling her they would find another way, but Luna insists, "I'll be fine, meet me by our old spot – you remember?" Lexa nods, and the two girls take off down their separate tunnels.
