Ash and the group are just hanging out when they accidentally run into a school which trains Officer Jennies. Ash and the group go on a training course which they end up all failing except for Misty and that is when they discover that Growlite's are going missing and find that it is because of Team Rocket who are trying to find a fire stone for James to evolve his Growlite. After a battle, Team Rocket are sent blasting off again but James gets a fire stone and evolves Growlithe into a Arcanine.
