The group arrive in Saffron City after seeing weird visions of a creepy girl. This leads to Ash heading to the gym where its revealed he let Clefairy back on the team. The battle goes terribly wrong as Ash looses to Sabrina which leads to Brock and Misty being turned into dolls. Ash meets a elderly man who tells him that ghost types are good against psychic types and Ash decides to go off to get a ghost Pokemon.
