episode 45: attack of the prehistoric pokémon

Ash and the group come to a archeological dig where they run into Gary again. They decide to help out and dig for Pokemon and incubate some fossils which leads to Aerodactyl to be revived and kidnap Ash but Charmeleon evolves into a Charizard and saves Ash. Gary catches the Aerodactyl and adds it to his team. Ash and the group find a mysterious egg and take it with them. Ash attempts to call Oak to talk about the egg which Oak reveals he didn't even know Pokémon could lay eggs.
