I met him in the laundry room
It was getting late and he wanted to talk
So I listened
He talked of traffic and accidents
About gas spills and ruptured tanks
He mentioned all the accidents
He's been in
Along with the injuries he's sustained
Finally, he said to me,
"You know, with all this trouble that I've been through
When I get behind the wheel
I just know no matter what is around that corner
I need to just enjoy that ride
as if it's my last".
