Imagine a world constantly telling you how it understands
People who talk about connections, empathy, relations
                              And you feel nothing.

Imagine that people, are like a world's crust
                              Brittle, and beneath the mantle
Where fuel and fire should flow,
                              Nothing

                              Imagine every conversation being dangerous
                              Every glance perilous
                              Every touch threatening
                              Every voice viperous

                              Imagine being trapped
                              And yet somehow finding solace
                              Within your own mind.

                              Try, please try, to imagine
All the things I left unsaid,
                              Because I couldn't say
                              Knowing you'll never understand
What it's like to be Autistic

No Lifeguard on Duty
PoetryThis is a collection of my life, my thoughts, and my perception of everything around me. I won't claim that my documentation of how I think or perceive things around me is accurate. It is however the most accurate form of how I can express who I am...
