Guess I wasn't wrong about the teleportation thing after all. And while I understand his reasoning behind the travel arrangements, I wasn't thrilled about having Tristan be alone in my house with Finn. I know the two of them have been hanging out together for awhile now, but Finn didn't know what Tristan was then. And Tristan didn't have to hide it.

Sensing my anxiety, Tyler tells me that he will watch over them until we get there and then he disappears too. Leaving the remaining four of us to head back to my house the long way. And with Elijah still not talking to me, the drive home seems to take an impossible amount of time.

The second Cole puts the car in park I am out the door and sprinting into the house. The rational part of me knew that everything would be fine, but I am still relieved to see Finn is safe and sound sitting on my couch. His head pops up when he hears me come and he looks just as relieved as I am.

He walks over to me and when Eli comes in the room Finn pushes me behind him, like he is shielding me from danger. Elijah just scoffs and I try to assure Finn that everything is okay, and he won't hurt me.

"But you I'm not so sure about yet," Eli threatens, narrowing his eyes at him.

"Knock it off you two," I sigh, and when Cole comes in to join us Finn looks at him warily, too. "It's fine," I tell him. "He won't hurt you either."

"And you already know I have no problems kicking your ass if I feel it's necessary," Paige says, handing him a glass of water, and coming to take her seat in the living room.

We all look at each other, none of speaking and trying to figure what should come next. Until Tyler asks me, "So? What now?" Tyler asks me.

"I'm going to tell him," I announce.

"Tell me what!?" Finn shouts, his frustration coming to a head. Not that I can blame him after everything he's witnessed in the past ten few minutes.

Tristan shushes him and explains that it's important Callie doesn't find out that he is here. I look into his eyes and he looks scared.

"We can trust him," I tell the others.

"Plus," Paige says, "He already knows there is something supernatural going on thanks to you bone-headed boys. So, we don't have much of a choice anyway."

"That's not true. We could always kill him," Tristan suggests and I look at him not amused by his joke, but by the expression on his face, I don't think he was actually kidding.

"Can't you just siren him to forget?" Paige asks.

"Because that worked so well a few minutes ago? We wouldn't be in this situation if Tristan was strong enough to use his power right," Eli remarks.

"My power wasn't the problem. The siren call is nearly impossible to resists. There is only one thing that has the potential to counter it."

"What is that?" Paige asks him. He doesn't answer her directly, but just looks pointedly from Finn to me. "You mean love?"

"Not just any love. True love. Don't you read your fairytales? True love can counter even the strongest of magics. It's not my fault Finn's need to get to her," he points to me, "Was greater than my power."

The atmosphere in the room quickly becomes awkward and everyone seems to feel it. And Elijah is practically seething and I wouldn't be surprised if he was contemplating going along with Tristan's murder idea.

"Nobody is sirening him," I tell the group, "And there will definitely be no killing him," I add narrowing my eyes at Tristan.

"I'm just saying, it would make things easier," he shrugs like it's no big deal
