"Let him go, Callie."

"No, I don't think I will. Besides what do you care, aren't you already spoken for?" she sneered.

I think about calling for Tyler, but I know I can't in case Callie decides to hurt Finn in retaliation. "What do you want?" I demanded.

"You mean you haven't been able to remember yet? I want your soul of course."

"Well, sorry. It's not for sale."

"I've been trying to get to your soul for so many centuries now, and finally I have you here without your little friends. And without your little ghost."

I have to work at keeping my voice steady and not letting her know that I am nervous. "You really think you can hurt me?" I scoff.

"No probably not. Any fireball I throw, you would just easily deflect, and my siren call doesn't work on you."

"So, what's your big plan then?" I see the shadow creeping through the leaves behind her. "That thing can't hurt me either," I comment.

"That's not entirely true, it can hurt you. It just can't kill you. But it's not here for that anyway. Its only purpose is to grab your soul before you can get away. After I kill you."

"So, what is it this time? More birds? Maybe a flock of seagulls this time?" I quip

"Yeah, right! I saw how quickly you raised those crows, and that was before the four of you were back together. I'm not an idiot. I don't wish to have my eyes pecked out by zombies with wings."

She had know idea I only did that by accident and didn't have control over that part of my power. Which only confirms what Tristan told us. Callie knew we didn't have all our memories, but she believed us to be as strong as we should be. It was the only reason she hadn't just appeared in front of me at any given moment and taken me out. Or why she didn't try to kill me that day in my living room. She was scared of me.

"Then what the big plan here? Talk me to death?" I tease, hoping to keep up the ruse that I wasn't scared of her.

"Oh, Alice," she tsks while moving to stand behind Finn, "See, my siren call might not work on you, but it does work on poor Finny here. And he can be told to kill you."

"You think my powers can't stop him?" I ask not getting the master plan.

"I'm sure you could stop him easily. However, you won't," she smiles. "You won't be able to hurt the man you still love, will you?"

I knew she was right. Destined to be with him or not, I did still love Finn, and I would never hurt him.

"Does your familiar know that you are in love with someone else?" she asks, trying to get a rise out of me, but I ignore her.

"Hey, Finny?" she whispers in his ear, taunting me.

"Don't!" I say, raising my hands to stop her.

"Nu-uh, Alice. You wouldn't want to miss and hit Finn, would you?"

"I have good aim," I threaten.

"So do I," she says, making a fireball and holding it in front of his face. "Don't think for one second I won't incinerate him right here."

When I remain in place, knowing there was nothing I could do in that moment, she grins feeling satisfied that she had the power here. Then her eyes go red.

"Finn, darling. Don't you want to hurt Alice?"

"No," I gasp.

"Hurt Alice," she repeats, and then leans down closer to say right into his ear, "Don't stop until she's dead."
