Pearl's POV

'Tom, are you ready?', Bill asked, after knocking on my door.

Tom was still sitting on the edge of the bed, tying his shoes and sighing annoyed.
That afternoon him and the guys had an interview, but Tom couldn't find a way to let me go with them and stay backstage, therefore I would have watched it on TV.

'Yeah, give me a minute', Tom shouted back, standing up and going to look at himself in the mirror.
He was beautiful as always: light jeans, purple T-shirt which was matching with the bandana on his head, white Jordans and my usual rubber band on his wrist.

I stood up from the bed to walk closer to him and hug him from behind, while he was looking at himself in the mirror.
He smiled at my reflexion, taking my hands in his and kissing them.

'You're beautiful', he said turning around, giving me a kiss.
I smiled at him, even if I didn't feel as beautiful, not even a little bit in comparison to him.
I was still wearing my pyjamas, which were Tom's shirt and some shorts, and my hair was still messed up from the nap I had just woke up from.

'You're not so bad yourself', I said, resting my chin on his chest, feeling the vibration of his laughter.

'Hey, Georg and Gustav are downstairs if you wanna go say hello to them', he said stroking my hair and I nodded, backing away from him.

'You're not coming?', I asked him seeing how he stood still while I opened the door.

'Oh yea, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom real quick, I'll be downstairs in a minute', he stepped closer to give me a kiss, before going into the bathroom.

In the meantime, I ran downstairs to go into the living room where Georg, Gustav and Bill were talking, sitting in front of the kitchen's table.

I walked closer to Georg and Gustav, who had their backs turned to me, and I hugged them both, with an arm on Gustav's shoulders and the other around Georg's shoulders.

'There she is', Gustav said turning around and smiling, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

'How are you guys?', I asked them, looking at the both of them, as they nodded.

'Can't complain', Georg replied, drinking a sip of his coffee.

'Is everything good between you and Tom?', I asked, taking a stool and sitting at the top of the table.

Gustav sighed, looking at his mug for a second, before nodding.

'Yeah, we're good. We didn't mean to leave you guys alone at dinner, we were just pissed off and worried about him', he said, while Bill offered me a cup of coffe, which I refused.

'I get that, but he's better now. He doesn't do drugs anymore', I said smiling, feeling incredibly proud of Tom.
However, nobody smiled back, they were looking at me quite sadly.

'What?', I said looking at them, who were looking at each other.

'I mean, it's not that easy Pearl. Yeah, he might not be doing drugs right now, but he's an addict, or at least he used to be, so it's not that easy to completely stop', Georg said, looking down.

'I'll keep an eye on him', I replied, starting to worry about Tom.
I knew how hard it was to fight a battle against addiction, especially when that addiction accompanied him during his teenage years, but I trusted Tom, and I knew that if something was wrong he would've told me, we would've gotten through it together.

'Hey Bill', I said turning to my right, where Bill was eating his pancakes.

'I'm going to watch your guys' interview later, but I was thinking about asking Jocy to come over', I said, watching how his eyes were looking down.
'I haven't seen her since, you know, you guys broke up, but if you're not comfortable I can meet her in the city.'
