"Ms. Winters?"
"Oh, Mr. Black! What are you doing here?" I looked up at his tall figure, seeing his brown eyes stare down at me.
He chuckled, "You can call me Malvolio, outside of work." he must have seen me look around for the girl that had suddenly disappeared, "I had a business meeting with one of our clients."
"You're constantly working."
"An empire doesn't run itself."
An awkward silence fell between us. I wasn't sure what to say. Why was it so hard to talk to him?
"So.. the weather is nice..?" a soft chuckle left his mouth. "Yes, indeed." his phone saved us from the deafening silence. He looked down as the screen lit up in his hand. "I must go now, Ms. Winters."
"Aurora." I quickly spoke.
"Sorry?" confusion littered his face as he pulled his eyebrows into a frown.
"You can call me Aurora, outside of work." I saw surprise gleaming in his eyes when I repeated his words.
"Goodnight... Aurora." he trailed, gently biting the corner of his lip before leaving.
There's something about him.

A few days had passed since last talking to Liam and bumping into Malvolio. It was finally the night of Liam's party and I had to admit I was a little nervous about going. Although things were good between us... I couldn't deny that my relationship with him was still not entirely comfortable.
I mean we basically didn't know anything about each other. You can imagine that I was glad for Natasha's support.
I checked myself one last time in the mirror, staring down at the outfit I had chosen for the night. I decided to wear a sparkly halter top, dark blue jeans and of course my converse. I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little bit with the top. It wasn't like my usual choice of clothing, you could actually see my flesh.
When I was happy with my appearance I went to say goodbye to Harry, who was currently standing on the balcony, wearing his normal attire; skinny ripped jeans, his black converse and open buttoned shirt. The sleeves to his shirt were rolled just above his elbows, showing off his tattooed forearms and the beaded bracelets that were always strung to his right wrist.
He was puffing on his cigarette when I spoke. "Goodnight."
"No "Mr. Styles" this time? My assistant should know how to behave herself." there was something dark in his eyes when he spoke.
"It was easier this way okay."
"Awkwardly running away?" I thinned my lips and squinted my eyes. "I have to say Aurora, you gotta work on your acting skills."
"Well good for me that I'm not an actress." I rolled my eyes, not wanting to stand here and have another meaningless argument with him I begin to walk away.
"Where are you going." I paused at his words, giving him a short answer I said, "A party." and to which he replied, "Who's party."
I shrug, "A friend." his stare was piercing through mine. "Are we done with the interrogation?"

After leaving the apartment I started my car and made my way to Natasha's place. I let the radio play in the background, trying to keep my mind at bay and not let my anger get the best of me. I couldn't help but feel irritated. He had that effect on me.
When I finally arrived outside of Natasha's apartment, she jumped in the passenger chair beside me and immediately commented on my 'being pissed'. I swear this woman has a sixth sense.
