Really short Pony Imagine

So here's the world's shortest Ponyboy imagine that I found in my notes as an apology for not posting for like 2 months but if you read the authors note at the end you'll understand why.

Imagine:
You were sitting at a table in the library reading a book. Suddenly, a boy sits down across from you. You look up.

"S-sorry," He mumbles, "There weren't any other seats. I hope you don't mind." You shrug.

"No, that's fine." He smiles at you, and you go back to your book. You feel him look back up at you.
"Hey, I love that book!" He says.

"Yeah," You respond.

"It's really good so far." You put it down to talk to him.

"It's one of my favorites. I'm Ponyboy Curtis by the way," He introduces. You don't even ask about his uncommon name, just tell him yours. He seems very grateful for that. The two of you end up talking about books for another hour before he takes a look at the clock.

"You know, I gotta go. I should probably be home soon.... Can I call you sometime?" He asks. You nod, quickly scribbling your number down for him.

He ends up calling you that night, and takes you out on your first date the next night. You end up having a picnic watching the sunset, then stargazing. It was an amazing night!

A/N: Hi. If you're still reading this book, I love you. It's been almost 2 full months and after this break, I think I'm almost ready to start writing again. Things have been going on lately that are hard for me, so I decided to take a break. I've been swamped with projects in school lately, my parents have been fighting a ton, something happened to my best friend about a month ago (she's fine now) and so many other things. I planned to update some stuff on the bus rides to and back from D.C., but he Wi-Fi wasn't working well, and I fell asleep after a while too, so I'm sorry for that. I have been working on a few requests, but they're not even close to done yet. I'm not going to open them up for a little while, since I don't get out of school for another two weeks, but I'll try to publish as much as I can over the next few days. That might be a lot, and that might be none at all. It honestly depends on how much homework I get, and I can't control that, as much as I wish I could. I'm really sorry about all of this, but the break was what was best for me. But here I am, back and better than ever, and I thought you guys deserved an explanation. I've been working on an update of Hope, which should be up soon, and a Broken update will be up either late tonight or sometime tomorrow! I hope you're as excited as I am. Also, my new fanfic, about Ponyboy, titled "My Worst Summer", will be published on June 21st, so be excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I've been writing it since March. :)
