She had a slight smirk on her face. She wasn't sad, she had just found the perfect argument to win this game you called "relationship". You stood frozen against the door as you struggled to put a thought together. There really wasn't anything about the moment you could say you were expecting, you were truly starting to think that she would finally let you go.

Clearly, you were wrong.

"What are you doing here?" Was what came into your mind, ignoring her question.

"Answer the question" She wasn't gonna let go.

"I went to the doctor and she prescribed it" You swallowed hard, not answering the question to full extent, but also not lying either. You did go to the doctor when you got back home, but not because you were struggling with pain, hormones or anything else, you simply knew what would be happening between you and Brian and nothing about your life at the moment made you want to get pregnant.

"Are you okay?" You noticed that her expression changed, she was giving you the benefit of the doubt, surprisingly.

"Y-Yes" You stutter. But then it hits you. What was the point of all this anyway? Why start lying if you wanted this to end?

"Why are you on the pill then?" She asked, back to her initial demeanour when she noticed your struggle in explaining yourself. You stopped functioning there, standing in silence and letting her do whatever she wanted next.

"You're fucking him, aren't you?" You couldn't exactly read her expression, but she looked anything but sad as she toyed with the stiff cardboard.

"Him?" Of course you knew who she was referring to, but you still couldn't believe this was happening.

"Don't play dumb. Don't think I didn't notice the level of tension that night in the theatre, how he looked like he could die seeing us together, shooting daggers at you. Also, you have a picture with him right next to your bed, (Y/N), so let's be real here..."

She eyed you curiously as you took a moment to answer her question.

"Chances are that you were also with him before you got here..." She lifted her brow.

"Yes" You answer. It was time, and as much as it was a pain in the ass to have to go through this, you knew it had to be done. You were doing it for him.

"Of course... see what I told you before you left?" You rolled your eyes, knowing she would say that.

"It wasn't li-" She interrupts you.

"Come on, (Y/N)! You were miles away from home, staying at the same hotel, you could have done anything you wanted" She scoffed.

She was right. And what pissed you off the most about all of this was that you had spent most of your time on the road trying to make things right between you and Sarah, to end things on a good note and to start things right with Brian. But now, it was all thrown out the window and even worse, you were starting to look like the villain here.

"You're right. But you know what? You were alone here. You too, could have done anything you wanted. And you know what's worse? You didn't even need me gone to do it..." You had an evil smirk on your face, you had put up with a lot to just stand there and let her pretend like she's the victim.

"What are you even talking about?" You noticed a twinge of panic on her expression, but she was quick to return to her persona.

"I know about Ava, in fact, I've known for a while now..." You reveal.

"What?" Her tone let you know that she was starting to lose her grip on things.

"Before you even try to deny it, she called and told me herself" You're quick to make yourself clear.
