Anywhere But Here

In dreams afar, I yearn to be.

Anywhere, but here, you see,

To run away, and freely roam,

To be with you, my heart, my home.

Across vast lands and oceans wide,

A thousand miles we'll swiftly stride,

For distance holds no sway, it's true,

When love's the compass that guides us through.

In each passing day, my heart beats strong,

Longing for your arms where I belong,

For though the miles may lay between,

Our love remains, an eternal gleam.

No matter where our footsteps land,

We'll walk together, hand in hand,

For love knows not of time or space,

It thrives in souls, with every trace.

So, here I stand, in this present state,

But my heart, with you, anticipates,

The day we'll join, no more apart,

Forever entwined, one seamless heart.

Anywhere, but here, I yearn to be,

To share a love that sets us free,

For distance is but a fleeting notion,

When two souls dance with such devotion.
