Halloween night, so dark and so grand,
A time when the monsters come out to hand,
In the shadows they lurk, with a wicked delight,
Their true selves shining bright, without a fight.
Their scales and their fangs, their claws and their wings,
Are not something to hide, but something to bring,
For on this night, they are the norm, you see,
In a world where they're free to be.
The moon casts its glow, on the creatures of the night,
As they dance and they play, with all their might,
Their howls and their cackles, their screams and their squeaks,
Are the sounds of their joy, and their wildest freak.
For on Halloween night, they're not alone,
They're surrounded by others, of their own,
A community of misfits, a family of sorts,
Who celebrate their differences, and their unique quirks.
So let your true self shine, and let your freak flag fly,
For on Halloween night, you're accepted, no lie,
In this world of monsters, you're not alone,
You're part of the pack, and you're finally home.Word count- 161
