You love Me?

Oh, the day he said those three words to me,
In a message, oh so plain to see,

My heart skipped a beat, my soul took flight,
As I read and reread, with tears in sight.

I felt my heart swell with joy and grace,
My love for him, I knew I had to place,

In a message, oh so simple and plain,
I typed out my love, with tears in vain.

I cried and cried, my heart overflowing,
My love for him, my soul was glowing,

I knew in that moment, it was true,
My heart belonged to him, forever true.

He said I love you, and I replied,
My love for him, I could not hide,

With tears of joy, my heart did sing,
My love for him, my everything.
