"Aurora?"
I turned to Klaus. "But it still doesn't tell me how to control it. How can I learn how to control my magic?" I asked biting my lip, mumbling the last part to myself.
He looked down to his knees and back at me. "We need a witch to help us." He stood up from the bed and started walking out of the door. "Where are you going?" I asked following him. "Just stay here... I'll bring a witch that can help us" He walked out of the house.
I wonder where Hayley and Rebekah are... I haven't seen them all day. I dropped onto the couch and sighed as I twirled my hair with my finger. I wonder what witch is Klaus going to get... It's not like the witches like Klaus or something... I can't believe I have so much power but that is only when I learn how to control it. For now it's worthless!
I heard the door open again and Klaus walked in with someone closely following him. I stood up and looked behind him curiously...
"Sophie?" I asked surprised. Is it really her? "Aurora?" She stared at me shocked. "I thought Marcel took you..." She said relieved. "I'm so happy you're okay." She smiled and pushed past Klaus to hug me. "Me too," I said smiling back.
Klaus made a fake scoffing sound making us pull away. "Really, Klaus?" I rolled my eyes. He ignored me and started talking to Sophie. "Aurora needs someone to help her control her powers... And she trusts you... Do you think you can help her?"
Sophie looked at him unsure but answered. "I can help her with a few spells but last time I checked we can't do magic." She answered the last part flatly.
I turned to Klaus and back to her as I bite my lip. What can we do to prevent Davina from sensing me? I examined Klaus' face expression; he scratched the back of his head as he twitched his nose. That must be his thinking face yet I never saw it...
He looked around the room and then his eyes met mine making me quickly look down to my knees.
"I've got an idea..." Klaus said pausing for a second trying to collect all of the words that he was planning to say and set it in a sentence.
"Aurora, you and Sophie get out of town for a while so you can learn how to control you powers..." He trailed off and looked at me waiting for my response. I looked at Sophie who seems to be staring back at me emotionless.
Come on! I don't want to be the center of attention! I nodded, "That sounds like a good plan."
Klaus sighed in relief. "You two are leaving in two hours. Pack up!" He walked up the stairs. After packing my suitcase I walked downstairs with the suitcase following me, the wheels making thumping sounds as it went down the stairs.
You may be wondering where I got the suitcase from... Well Klaus lend me his. I didn't even know vampires needed suitcases...
And the clothes? I stole them from Rebekah's closet. I couldn't help it, it was either Hayley or Rebekah's clothes. But on the end of the day I prefer Rebekah's style, even though I haven't really seen Hayley's style. Why am I having an argument with myself about clothes?
I stopped and looked around the house as I sighed. "You packed up and ready to go, love?" Klaus asked with a smirk appearing on his face. He hasn't called me love for a while now...
"Yup" I answered softly looking at the bag. This is going to be so different. The worst part is I'm going to leave my parents here... I wonder where Elijah is now... It's not the same without him. I know I only knew him for a short while but I thought there was some connection we had... Now I sound like the people in desperate housewives.
I looked up to see Sophie walking in. "Ready to go?" She asked me. I nodded and walked towards her. We both exited the house and walked towards the car. Klaus followed us and pointed towards the vehicle Sophie should take.
Sophie took my suitcase and hers and opened the boot. I then turned to look at Klaus. "Klaus, could you look for my parents and if you find them please don't let Marcel hurt them." I bit my lip.
This is so scary actually... I've never actually left New Orleans to go to anywhere... I feel like such loser. "You seem nervous." Klaus chuckled.
"Yeah" I blurted out. "Come on Aurora!" Sophie shouted. I turned around to walk to her but something pulls me back to look at Klaus.
"Good luck" He smirked and kissed my hand making me blush all shades of red. Get a hold of yourself Aurora! I gave him a half hearted smile and walk towards the car.
"What held you up?" Sophie asked placing the key in the ignition and then turns to me.
"Just said goodbye to Klaus" I answered her. She snorted and then twisted the key making the car roar.
"Is there something going on between Klaus and you?" She raised her brow. "Can't I just be polite to him and say goodbye." I said nervously starting to play with my fingers.
If you noticed I bite my lip and play with my fingers when I'm nervous.
"Not with Klaus. You either love him or hate him." She said as she placed her foot on petrol and started driving. I looked through the window to see Klaus was already gone and then turned back to her, "So what did you choose? Do you love or hate him?" I asked.
"I think it's more on the hate side." She teased. I nodded and started tapping my foot. This is going to be a long ride... "Where are we even going?" I asked her gazing out of the window as I rested my forehead against the glass of the window.
