"Thank you for everything but we really have to go." Sophie opened the door to leave but I stopped her, "Could you maybe drive us back to the woods? Our car is there," I said.
Damon nodded and walked past us, out of the door. He walked into his garage and reversed his car into the driveway. We walked towards the car.
I climbed in the front of the car next to Damon and Sophie took the back seat. I don't really know anything about cars but I think it's a sports car.
One thing that I've noticed is that Sophie does not like Damon. She's okay with Stefan but Damon she can't stand. I don't see any problems with any of the two brothers. Maybe Damon is more sarcastic than his brother but I find that a good thing.
"Is that your car?" Damon asked making my head turn towards the car. "Yes" I replied. Damon stopped the car and waited for us to get out. Sophie was the first one to leave the car. I followed her towards our car. "Thank you, Damon" I said before I entered the car.
"Anytime, princess." Damon winked as he smirked showing his chiseled jawline. You know I only noticed that now... I have to start paying attention to things much more. "Aurora, what is with you and all of the guys?" She teased.
"What do you mean?" I questioned dumbfounded. She shook her head as she put the keys into the ignition and turned it. Wait where did she get the keys? She must have left it in the car.
Way to play it safe Sophie. "So are we going to practice tomorrow?" I asked stretching my arms. It has already started to get dark. The moon was already out. Today it's a crescent moon.
"Yeah, we'll try again tomorrow. I just don't know what is wrong with your powers." She said parking the car by the hotel.
We both exited the car and made way to our hotel room. I opened the door to see someone sitting on my bed.
The person looked up with a stressed yet angry expression and I immediately recognized him, "Aurora, I was worried sick. Why didn't you pick up your phone Sophie? I called you like thirty times." Klaus stood up and walked over to us.
"I must have left it in the car when we were practicing." Sophie sighed. "Next time, take it with." Klaus demanded.
Sophie and I both nodded, "I'm going to stay in Mystic Falls for tonight but I'm leaving tomorrow. But don't worry you won't be lonely. Because we all know how boring Sophie is." Klaus smirked making Sophie glare at him. I couldn't help but giggle at Sophie's reaction.
"I brought a present. The present will be coming tomorrow so don't even bother looking for it." Klaus started walking towards the door.
"Goodnight, love," He smirked again and left the room.
Sophie stared at me and then to the bed. "I wonder what the present is." She teased but I ignored her.
"Well I'm taking a shower." She said walking into the bathroom. I opened my bag and quickly got dressed into my PJ's before she finished. I'll shower tomorrow again... I fell onto my bed and closed my eyes.
* * *
I walked around the room and awaited Sophie to wake up. I woke up early! I already showered, brushed my teeth and got dressed.
I was kind of exited about today. I'm not going to show it but I'm curious of what the present is going to be.
I feel like a little child waking up on Christmas morning for my Christmas present under the Christmas tree. Sophie finally opened her eyes and when her eyes meet mine a glint of confusion sprinkled in her eyes.
