His cyan coloured eyes were darkened and drowned with regret. He looked like he genuinely was sorry. Seeing him in that state broke my heart. I've never seen him, dare I say it, in such a weak state. It wasn't what he did, it was more that he lied.

My mouth urged to let out an 'It's okay' but with all my strength I kept my mouth shut. It became harder so I bit my lip and closed my eyes. "Aurora?" He asked huskily. I tightened my eyes but then opened them again.

Slowly but gradually Klaus started leaning in. I almost got caught up in the moment... Almost... When we were just inches apart. It took all the willpower in me but I put my hand on his chest and gracefully pushed him back, "Klaus, I can't."

"If it's because you don't-"

"No, I just can't." I interrupted. He stood there stunned but after a few seconds his face relaxed, "Well, then love, I'll wait until you can." He started walking off but then turned around to face me again, "And just so you know my intention was not to find Rebekah. Yes, I will admit that I kept an eye out for her but my true intention was to help you find Sophie."

Now it was my turn to be stunned. I stood there and watched his figure turning smaller. But soon I regained composure and rushed after him, "I got another idea on how to find Sophie." Klaus turned to me as we walked, "What is it?"

"We can find her with a tracking spell." I replied. I don't know why I haven't thought of it earlier... He nodded. "I just need something of hers..." I trailed off, "Like an object or something." He looked at his hands and then quickly back at me like he figured something out, "Do you have something of hers in your room?" I stared at him in thought, "Yes. She left a scarf in my room."

"Where in your room and how does it look like?" I raised a brow but answered anyways, "It's lying on my bed... And... It's brown and ruffled." At the speed of lightning he vanished before I could ask why. But then it became clear... He went to get it. Why do I have to be so dumb sometimes? He appeared again with the scarf in his hands and lifted it up to me with a smirk. I just smiled to myself as he handed it to me, "Here, love."

I took it out of his hands and shut my eyes while chanting, "Phasmatos Tribum Nas Ex Veras"

Trees came into view. Lots of them... All around me. One thing that stood out was one singular tree. I recognized it through its shape. Unlike the others it was distorted and the leaves looked somehow older, more fragile. It was the woods that I saw in the dream. I recognize it now. The woods were in New Orleans... I used to go there lots of times when I was still a child. Oh how I missed those days...

I opened my eyes, "It's in the woods." I stated. Without blinking he pulled me towards him and lifted me up bridal style. Before I could protest he sped towards the woods and put me down. My cheeks felt warm. I was probably blushing. No cheeks. Don't turn against me now. I leaned on my knees catching my breath.

"You're the one that's out of breath. I was the one who did the work," He chucked as I stood up straight, my breath still erratic, "The air hit my face. My lungs are worn out." I started walking at a slow pace towards where I saw the vision.  It's so hard. There are just trees everywhere. It all almost looks the same... Ugh. He followed closely, "Well then, you should've snuggled into my chest."

I rolled my eyes and punched his arm while giggling. "What?" He asked innocently.

"You kn-" I was cut off, my head suddenly pounding. I fell to my knees, my eyes shutting. "Aurora?" He questioned. His voice so faint. The quiet forest seemed isolated now. A cold touch spread across my shoulder... It was probably Klaus. "You're here, Aurora." Another voice whispered, "I must warn you, time is running out." The voice was feminine. It sounded sweet like Alaska's. It probably was her. "19 23 02.
