Aurora went through every dress in her closet and yet still she was not satisfied. The festival was going to start in a few hours and she had no idea what way she wanted her hair to be done let alone what she would wear. It was so frustrating.
She sighed and sat down. Moments like this reminded her of her mother... her sister... of Sophie. A tear streamed down her cheek. She missed them so much.A black dress rested upon the clothes pile. Her fingers brushed over the material. The dress was obviously the most beautiful in the pile but it was the most formal. What if she overdressed?
The redhead witch took the dress again and put it on. What was she gonna lose? There was a gentle knock on the door, "Who is it?"
No reply. She carried on; leaving her hair loose so it could hang over her shoulders.
Another knock erupted.
She walked annoyed toward the door and opened it but there was no one.Aurora stuck her head out confused. She walked into the hallway. A chill went down her spine as a cold wind rushed through the hallway. There was a dark presence nearby. She retracted her steps and raced to her room whilst quickly shutting her door.
She rested her forehead on the door before taking a few deep breaths. The only thing she could hear was her own heart pounding. The coldness that engulfed her was overwhelming.
She felt a hand suddenly rest upon her shoulder. Her neck made a small 'crack' as she instantly turned it around. A sharp pain followed. A black creature stood before her. It growled before its nails dug into her shoulder. She was being pushed toward the ground. With all the power that was inside of her she tried fighting back but it was useless. The next thing she knew she was already being pushed into the ground. It felt as if the wooden planks beneath her were being torn apart.
The weight lifted.
She looked up only to see the auburn haired seasonal witch stand where the demonic creature stood.
'Aurora, listen to me...'"No, you listen to me: I am done with these cryptic messages. I want to know why I was warned of death."
'They want you dead...'Her eyes moved past Aurora and it stayed there, 'Don't move.'
Aurora felt its nails grazing her skin.'You must kill the Mikaelsons before they kill you'
Aurora was alone again. Gravity was pulling her toward the ground. She slid against the door and sat. Klaus and Elijah would never hurt her. They have always protected her.
A knock erupted, "You ready, darling?"
It was Elijah. Only he had that warm, soft voice. She slowly stood up and fixed her dress before walking toward the mirror,
"Yeah..." She scanned her appearance. It seemed good enough.
The redhead contemplated telling Elijah about the creature but decided against it. She wanted to have a nice time with vampire. All she ever wanted was to have one normal night with him.
She opened it up. He stood with a shy smile and a bouquet of roses.
A grin suddenly formed on her face. She grabbed the flowers and hugged him, "Thank you!"
He held her tight whilst looking down to her, "You look beautiful."
A blush spread across her cheeks.
She quickly turned to place the roses upon her bed and rushed back to him whilst grabbing his hand instantly. It was only after she had grabbed it that she realised what she had done. He looked at her and gave her a smile. This was one of the first times she had seen him smile like that. They walked toward the exit. The streets were packed with people. Her and Elijah joined the crowd. They all walked toward a square where stalls rested upon the concrete. People dressed with bright colours. She looked down at her black dress and sighed.
"What's wrong?" She looked up and met Elijah's gaze. "Nothing." She gave him a reassuring smile. He squeezed her hand as he walked farther.
They moved between stalls buying small treats."You really do have a sweet-tooth." Elijah chuckled.
"Shut up." She said softly.
Her eyes landed upon the foul creature. It stood, hidden away, in an alleyway.
"Elijah...""Hmmm..." He looked toward her as a lollipop stuck out of his mouth. His soft eyes made her melt.
"Nothing."The young witch instead softly pulled him toward the next square with other stalls. Music filled it. People stood by the stalls buying numerous things whilst youngsters stood in the middle dancing.
There it stood in between the crowd. Its yellow eyes peered right through her. This time it was closer. Fear crept into her heart. She had no idea what it was capable of. Could it physically harm her? Or was it merely taunting her? Why did it even start this? So many questions ran through her mind.
She closed her eyes and turned toward Elijah, whilst following the beat of the slow music.
"What are you doing?" He asked whilst standing uncomfortably.
"Dancing..." She said softly and looked up toward him.Small raindrops fell upon them.
"Remember the last few times this happened?" She giggled.
"Yeah..." He leaned down and rested his hand upon her face. He softly pulled her toward him as he placed his lips against her's gently. His lips were soft and it tasted like Strawberry. It was probably from all the lollipops he kept on having. Their lips moved in sync as he cupped her cheek. When he pulled away she realised that they were soaking.
"Wanna head home?" He questioned. She nodded before holding his hand again. He picked her up and sped back to her room. The vampire put her down.
"Wow. Such a show off, huh?" She gave another giggle.
His eyes were glued on her. He moved toward her again and placed his hands on her sides.
Her smile fell. Instead, she merely looked up toward him in awe. She put her hand on his face and gently pulled him toward her.Elijah quickly moved in and kissed her. He picked her up and placed her on the bed. She felt electricity shoot through her body as he moved his lips on her neck. The young witch was in a moment of bliss, completely unaware of the danger to follow.
