He smiled back and disappeared.

I walked towards Sophie. "Do you want to go on with your practice?" She asked ignoring what just happened. I nodded and followed her as she walked back to where we were practicing.

"So do you want to try again?" She asked. "Yes" I replied softly and close my eyes. "Phasmatos radium calaraa." I chanted trying the spell again.

I opened my eyes and look around. Sophie stared at me. "You're still here" She said annoyed, "Maybe you're not trying hard enough." 

"Yes! I have been trying very hard!" I shouted frustrated. Why does everything have to be so hard! Why can't I just say one, two, three and everything could just happen?

"Well it's not the way you chanting it... Then what is it?" She said walking back and forth. "How am I supposed to know!?" I shouted in my defense.

She started mumbling. What is she trying to do? "We need to go back to the hotel and I'll look through the grimoire. Maybe there is a solution in there?" She started making her way back to the car.

A nearby bush started rustling. I turned my head in the bushes direction and stared at it alarmed. I looked around and noticed that Sophie is already gone. Oh no...

I started speed walking in the direction where Sophie disappeared. I may not know which way the car is but anything is better than standing there nearby that bush.

I don't even care if it was only a bunny. I'm not taking any chances. When you live in the world of werewolves and vampires nothing is safe.

Especially if you're a witch... I learned that when I was still in New Orleans. I heard another rustling noise. I looked around to just see green everywhere. Which way is the car? I should pay more attention to where I'm going. My fear stars building up and I can only hear my heart rate that's that's just increasing every second.

I started running in the opposite direction. This is driving me crazy! Why can't I just walk peacefully in 'the woods'? Wait it's 'the woods'! There's nothing peaceful about 'the woods'!

Finally I saw a gap between the trees. I ran towards it and when I finally exited it I realized that I'm not by Sophie's car. I stopped and immediately took in my surroundings.

This looks like a graveyard or something... I slowly walked past all of the tombstones. I heard the same noise that I heard in the woods.

I turned around but find nothing there. My breathing started increasing as I turned back and walked faster. I need to get out of here! It can't be a bunny. Bunnies don't follow you around... Or do they? Nope... They don't! The noise just got louder... I started running as fast as my legs could carry me. My heartbeat increased dramatically... I'm not very fit. I should have learned by now that fitness is everything especially against the vampires. But no... I can't run to save my life.

"Aurora!" A familiar voice shouted. I turned around to see Sophie. She rested her hands on her knees lowering her head as she breathes heavily. My heartbeat started to go slower again.

"Where you the one chasing me?" I asked still catching my breath. "Yeah... Kind of... I went back to the car and realized you're not there so I came back." She raised her head and looks at me. "So it wasn't you in the woods?" I asked. Say it was you... Say it was you... 

"No, it wasn't me. Why are you even asking me that question? Was there someone in the woods?" She finally stood up straight. Then who was it? Maybe it was the bunny. Please say it was the bunny. It was the bunny... A figure came from behind one of the tombstones.

My heart stopped in its place. "Sophie!" I shouted but it's too late. The figure sped towards Sophie and punctured her neck with its teeth.

I ran towards Sophie and try to pull away. I looked at the person. If you can even call it that... And noticed it was a girl with wavy light brown hair.

I can't see the face because it's buried into Sophie's neck! I started pulling the girl away from Sophie making her push me with full force. Next thing I knew was I'm flying through the air and it my head against something hard making everything go dark...

* * *

I got woken up by soft whispers. My head hurts like hell! What is going on? What happened? My memories slowly started coming back to me... Sophie... NO, SOPHIE!

I tried to get up but my body wouldn't move. It felt like my body was paralyzed but I could still feel the pain that was starting to spread faster.

Starting by my head going down to my spine and ending by my tippy toes. I tried to lift my eyelids up but it was way to much work... Every minute my body was just getting more and more exhausted. What is going on with me!? All I could hear is the silent whispers...

Out of now where a familiar liquid entered my mouth making all the pain fade away. I gasped as I fluttered my eyes open to see the same pair of green eyes hovering over me as before.

"Stefan?" I asked confused. "Aurora, you're okay." He smiled. I sat up and looked around the room. Everything is covered with wood and seems quite old. There is a book shelf on the left side of the room and a table nearby it. Everything looked old not just the wall and floor. I'm scared that all of this is going to break down any minute and fall on me.

"Where am I?" I asked still not changing my expression. "You're at my house. After Elena attacked you and you're friend, we took you here." He said assuring. I wiped away the blood covering my mouth. So that's how a vampire feels like... Still wouldn't to be one.

"Is Sophie okay?" I asked moving my legs to the side of the bed as I prepared to get up but fate is not on my side because I still feel weak.

I heard footsteps come towards the door. "Ahh, is sleeping beauty finally awake?" Damon teased. "Really funny, Damon." I replied annoyed as I turned back to Stefan.

"Is Sophie okay?" I asked again only this time a little more demanding. "She's fine," Stefan stood up. "Can I see her?" I asked trying to get up as well but my knees felt a little bit wobbly making me almost fall over but Damon sped and caught me.

"Whoa, there princess. You're not getting hurt again under my watch." He placed me back on the bed.

Stefan eyed his brother as he walked towards the door. "I'm going to check on Elena. You stay by her. I'll be back just now." Stefan walked out of the room leaving me with Damon.

I looked at Damon and then to my knees. "Why did Elena attack us?" Even though I'm not looking I can feel Damon's stare on me and a confused expression plastered all over his face like the answer is clear but before he can say anything I finished my sentence.

"What I meant is that I know that vampires attack people. Believe me I've known some horrible vampires and I've seen what they can do. But why are you guys looking after her if you're so different. You two don't seem so bad." I said looking back at Damon.

"How do you know we aren't that bad? Stefan could be sucking you're friends blood right now." Damon smirked.

"Because you saved me and Sophie. If you really were that bad you wouldn't care." I said.

He stared at the ceiling as he answered. "We didn't want you're bodies to lie there attracting unwanted attention from vampire hunters." He replied pleased with his answer. But I don't believe a word.

"You could've buried our bodies." I said quickly making him scratch his head.

He turned to me and smirks.

"You're good, princess."

MY NEXT CHAPPY... I WAS THINKING OF SHIP NAMES FOR AURORA AND KLAUS AND ELIJAH AND AURORA BUT NOTHING CAME IN MIND. DO YOU GUYS HAVE GOOD SHIP NAMES FOR THEM? IF YOU DO PLEASE COMMENT OR PM ME WITH IT...
