"The prison..." Frigga said, looking in the direction of where the blearing noise was coming from. The siren had cut off the conversation the queen was having with her children and Thor's mortal lady. The siblings followed her gaze, taking a step forward. In the distance, they could see almost every guard available rushing down to the dungeons, weapons in hand.
"Loki," Thor said, his jaw tightening and his fists balled together. Athalia clocked her head to the side.
"Something tells me this may not be one of Loki's acts, brother." She said, still keeping her eyes on the guards running down to the dungeons.
"Go," Frigga told the siblings. "I will handle her." She reassured Thor. The blonde nodded his head, looking at his sister before making his run towards the dungeons. Athalia looked at her mother and the mortal woman, before looking to the dungeons.
"You go, I'll stay." She said, "Who knows how far they've gotten? They could be anywhere in the palace by now." Thor nodded his head once again, acknowledging his sister's words before she broke into a sprint towards the dungeons.
Turning her attention to the other woman, Athalia looked at her mother. "We need to find your father," Frigga spoke.
The black-haired princess cringed at the words 'your father' as she revered to Odin. Athalia may have forgiven Frigga for lying to her her whole life, but the tension was still there with the Allfather. The difference was, that she knew that no matter if she was her real mother or not, Frigga loved her as if she were her own. She did not feel the same about Odin, and his attitude and actions toward her make that even more clear.
"Stay close, Jane," Athalia told the brunette woman, she nodded her head. "We don't know who or how many have escaped the dungeons."
And with those words, the two Asgardians led the Midgardian back to the castle, making sure that she stayed close to her. A purple glow warped around Athalia's hand as a small dagger appeared in her hand. The choice of weapons was not her typical choice but she thought that it was easier to hide from any unwanted visitors compared to her spear.
"Send a squadron to the weapons vault." they heard Odin's voice as they entered the main entrance of the hall. "Defend it at all costs. Secure the dungeon-"
"Odin," Frigga called out to her husband, the two younger women at her sides. The Allfather stopped, the guard's following behind him stopping as well.
"Frigga." Odin replied, "Go!" He yelled at the guards upon noticing their still positions. The armored guards ran off, and the sound of their heavy boots hitting the stone floor echoed throughout the hall. "It's a skirmish. Nothing to fear."
"You've never been a very good liar," Frigga replied to her husband.
"Maybe that's where Thor gets it from," Athalia commented, only loud enough for Jane to hear her. As Odin began to speak again, Athalia watched as more soldiers and guards made their way through the hall. Lady Sif being one of them.
