It makes her sick, the way sadness is addicting. Sadness is familiar. It's comfortable and it's easy in the sense that it comes naturally to her. But everything else about it is hard. The way her body aches with self-hatred. The way her mind spins a...

Thor had flown off from everyone, Jane with him leaving everyone else who couldn't fly to travel in Jane's van. Driving off to the place Athalia and the others arrived only a short time ago. When they got closer to the sight, the open land filled with nothingness, they noticed the burned car that had been flipped upside down. Athalia climbed out of the car, feeling a little strange since they have nothing like this back on Asgard.
"Hey, um before you go," Jane's friend, Darcy Lewis, spoke to Athalia. "I just wanted to say, what you did back there, that was um, like totally badass and like super hot. I think you're my new favourite person." She finished nervously, a light tint of pink painted over her cheeks as she looked up at the taller goddess. 'Are all Asgardian's tall or is that just a god thing?' Darcy questioned in her head.
Athalia smiled at her, "Thank you. I like you, you're fun." Athalia said, revering to the card game 'Uno' she had shown her in the van. "I would be honored to be your favourite person. Also, it's just a god thing," she added, sending her a wink before joining her brother.
"Heimdall, open the Bifrost." Thor spoke to the sky. The two waited but nothing changed. Athalia looked up at the sky, trying not to get blinded by the hot sun.
"Heimdall?" She called out. She meet her brother's eyes, shrugging her shoulders at the look she gave him. "Heimdall?!" She yelled again. But yet, they were still greeted with nothing. No rainbow bridge to cross.
"He doesn't answer," Thor explained to the others.
"Then we are stranded," Hogun said,
"Hogun, don't say that." Athalia snapped at the warrior, "Heimdall! If you can hear me, we need you now!" She yelled at the sky again, hoping for some kind of answer. Anything.
"Heimdall! We need you now!" The blonde princes yelled. Still no answers. Everyone began to worry as they also looked at the sky. They wanted to go home, to stop Loki from his dangerous games. "Heimdall!" Thor yelled again. Slowly, the clouds began to spiral in the sky. The Bifrost was opening. Heimdall was bringing them home.
"Let go!" Athalia told her friends, "It was nice to meet you all, I hope to see you again someday." she spoke, nodding her head to Jane, Darcy, and Erik Selvig. They all nodded their heads back, giving the girl a small wave as she returned to her friends. They all watch Thor who had stayed behind to talk to Jane, holding her close to him.
"What's he saying to her?" Fandral asked,
"How are when meant to know? He's all the way over there!" Athalia told the blonde, "It's probably some heart-filled speech about how he'll return to her." She explained, waiting for the two of them to kiss but instead, Thor took her hand and placed a kiss on her knuckles. That was until Jane pulled the blonde in for a passionate kiss, grabbing his jaw. "Disgusting,"
"It's romantic," Fandral said,
"It's my brother,"
"Should I kiss you, would that make you feel better?" Athalia didn't reply. She just stood blankly, her mouth gaping like a fish. When Thor finally joined the group the Bifrost opened instantly, sending them home without another chance to say goodbye to their new friends. Or in some cases, love.
