The open-air around them that was once quiet had muffled gunshots sounding off at the other end of the ship. A frantic pirate from the room above them spoke on the radio that played through Athalia's ear.

"We lost them. The line just went dead. I've lost contact with them..." Once the radio had cut off, now replaced with the painful sound of static. Steve jumped up and around the corner, throwing his shield and shattering the glass. Athalia followed after him. Pulling themselves up to the next level, they climbed through the window.

The moment when Steve's feet landed on the glass-shattered floor, he was kicked in the stomach by one of the pirate guys. He scarred off the floor and back onto his feet before bolting out the door. Athalia had seen that the other guy in the room with him. He lay with his back on the ground, looking up at the ceiling. He had a dent in his head from where Cap's shield had bounced off of it. It was safe to assume that he wasn't going to cause any trouble, so, when Steve started running after the pirate, Athalia followed.

"Hostages en route to extraction. Romanoff missed the rendezvous point, Cap. Hostels are still in play." Rumlow's voice played through her hairpiece. Athalia had jumped over a flight of stairs and landed on the ship dock, next to Steve. She looked around, holding two daggers, one in each hand, trying to find their runaway guy.

"Natasha, Batroc's on the move," Steve said, into his earpiece out of breath. 'Batroc?' Athalia thought when she heard Steve say the guy's name. 'That's a weird name,'. "Circle back to Rumlow and protect the hostages. Natasha-"

Before Steve could finish what he was saying, the Batroc guy jumped out from around the corner and attacked Steve. Steve slid across the ground, Batroc ran after him and kicked his shield, knocking him back down to the ground.

Athalia ran and jumped on his back, flipping him over and slamming him onto the ground. Batroc threw Athalia off of him, making her fly over Steve. Standing back on his feet, Steve used his shield to block a kick to the face. The guy missed his attack and Steve rolled under his legs. While Batroc continued to attack Steve, Athalia grabbed him from behind and punched him in the face, knocking him back a few steps. She swung her leg and knocked him back again, after kicking him in the chest. He bounced off of Steve's shield, stumbling closer to the goddess.

Grabbing hold of his jacket, Athalia picked him up and threw him towards Steve, the soldier ducked allowing Batroc to fly over him. A loud thud was heard when Batroc came in contact with the wall behind him, he slid down and after a few short moments, where Athalia believed he had given up, Bartoc stood to his feet.

"I thought you were more than just a shield," Bartoc spoke, to Steve, in French. At first, Steve didn't reply, he took his shield and placed it on his back. He took off his helmet and dropped it on the ground.

"Let's see," Steve replied in French.

The guy grabbed Steve's leg, pulling him down with him. Athalia took the chance, she leaped over Steve and tackled Batroc to the ground as he went to stand back up. They rolled on the hard ground, Batroc kicking off Athlia and making her fly through a door. Steve pushed Batroc through the broken door frame, Athalia punched him hard in the face as he landed near her. Batroc was out like a light.

"Well, this is awkward." Nat's voice said. Turning her head, the goddess saw Natasha hunch over a desk, at a computer.

"What are you doing?" Steve asked as he entered the room. Athalia stood, dusting off the tiny broken pieces of wood, stuck to her suit. She whipped some blood from her lip.

"Backing up the hard drive." Nat said. "It's a good habit to get into."

Steve glanced down at Batroc before turning his focus back to Natasha. "Rumlow needed your help. What the hell are you doing here?"

"She just told you what she's doing, Rogers," Athalia spoke sarcastically, still standing near Batroc in case he woke up.

"You're saving S.H.I.E.L.D. intel," Steve said, ignoring Athalia's smart comment.

"Whatever I can get my hands on."

"Our mission is to rescue hostages,"

"No, that's your mission," Nat said, removing the hard drive. "and you've done it beautifully."

"You just jeopardized this whole operation." Out of the corner of her eye, Athalia saw Batroc's body twitch.

"I think that's overstating things." Nat said. Batroc stood, jumping onto his feet. Athalia was kicked backwards before she could attack. She was flipped over a computer desk, her back slammed against the ground making her groan in pain. Batroc threw a bomb towards Steve and Nat which Steve blocked with his shield. Steve grabbed Nat and threw them in a side room, breaking the glass.

Athalia slowly lifted her head after the boom went off. Fire surrounded her in the room. A sense of panic washed over her. She tried to create a focus field, the purple glow started to form around her but quickly disappeared. She could hear a mumble of Steve and Natasha's voice. Standing and looking around the room, Athalia tried to find a way out or a way to where Steve and Nat are.

"Fuck," she said, seeing that there wasn't any way out that does envolve being burned.
