Athalia hadn't known that her dear twin had taken over the throne, that the warriors three and Lady Sif had wanted to see her so-called "father", the Allfather, about lifting Thor's banishment to earth, that Loki had gone back to Jotunheim or that he was the reason the Frost Giants had gotten past Heimdall in the first place. She also didn't know that Loki had gone to Earth and told their brother lies.

The princess had originally been by her mother, Frigga's side, watching Odin fall deeper and deeper into the Odinsleep. The Queen had refused to leave her husband's side out of fear that he would never awake again. Now the Goddess of Magic sat in one of the castle gardens, alone. Her head spun with the thought of the events that had occurred. She needed to be alone. She wanted to be alone. Alone with her thoughts.

She sat, in silence, on the edge of a water fountain. She listened to the waterfall from the statue, into the water below. Flower petals floated on top of the water. A small ball of magic traveled across Athalia's fingertips, aiming at a flower petal, she watched it transform into small fish. She could hear the faint sound of running footsteps coming from the hall. Trying not to think about it she brushed off the noise, but the footsteps only got louder and louder.

"Princess!" Fandral and Sif shouted. Athalia's deep blue eyes shifted away from the fish to her friends. The Warriors Three and Lady Sif stood in front of her, their fist over their heart as they took a knee.

"You don't need to do that, we are friends," Athalia spoke, turning to face them.

"We've heard about your father, our deepest apologies." Hogun apologized, Athalia nodded her head, giving her friends a smile as if to say thank you.

"Loki has taken the throne," Sif told her, Athalia stood from the side of the water fountain at the news, "We had wished to speak with Odin but he'd fallen into Odinsleep, or Frigga but she wish to stay at his side."

"We'd ask he lifts Thor's banishment," Volstagg added, "But he refused, said his first command cannot be to undo the Allfather's last-"

"I hope you're not here to ask me to lift Thor's banishment," Athalia said, "If Loki has really been crowned King, I can not overpower him." Her voice got softer.

"No, Princess," Fandal said, "We are asking for your help."

The friends had moved from the gardner to the golden room that they all hung out in. The same room from when this all started, straight after Thor's banishment. Hogun and Sif sat on the other couches opposite each other, while Athalia stood, staring out at the kingdom beneath them.

"Our dearest friend banished, Loki on the throne, Asgard on the brink of war yet you've managed to consume four wild boar, six pheasants, a side of beef, and two casks of ale," Fandral spoke as he passed back and forth in front of Volstagg as the redheaded warrior continued to eat. "Shame on you. Don't you care?" he finished, knocking the plate from his friend's hand, making a loud crashing noise.

"Do not mistake my appetite for apathy!" Volstagg yelled, standing right in Fandral's face.

"Stop it, both of you!" Athalia said, moving from her spot, now in the middle of her two friend. Hogun pulled Volstagg away from their blonde friend, "Stop it," She whispered to Fandral.

"We all know what we have to do," Sif said,

"We must go, we must find Thor," Hogun spoke.

"It's treason," Fandral replied.

"To hell with treason, it's suicide," Volstagg said.

"Thor would do the same for us," Athalia said, "You ask for my help, to get him back, why be chicken now?"

"Now shush, Heimdall might be watching," Volstagg whispered. As soon as the word left the warrior's lips, the door of the room slammed open. A guard appeared in the doorway. He placed his fist over his heart, lowering his head quickly to the Princess.

"Heimdall demands your presence."

"We're doomed,"

"You would defy the commands of Loki, our King, break every oath you have taken as warriors, and commit treason to bring Thor back?" Heimdall's deep voice boomed around the doom. The Warriors stood before him, the princess a few steps behind.

"Who crowned him King?" Athalia raised her voice from the back, "Loki. Who crown him? Because I know it wasn't my father or mother. If anything I should be Queen," She spoke facts, she was older than Loki and was next to be crowned if Thor wasn't, if her father wished, "I am next in line after Thor." she said.

"Would you do it?" Heimdall repeated,

"Yes," they all replied,

"Good,"

"So you'll help us?" Sif asked the gatekeeper.

"I am bound by honor to whoever may sit on the throne, I cannot open the bridge to you."

"Complicated fellow isn't he?" Fandral said as they watch Heimdall walk away. Athalia sighed, shaking her head slightly. That was when she noticed something from the corner of her eye. The sword. He'd left the key behind.

"Now what do we do?" Volstagg asked.

"Look," Athalia said, as the sword started to spark. It sent lightning around the doom, opening the Bifrost. "No turning back now,"
