Athalia had joined Thor to help the Warriors three, and Lady Sif in Vanaheim, Hogun's former home realm. A band of rebels called The Marauders, a group of ragtag pirates and invaders who pillaged across the Nine Realms, attacked the peaceful planets. The people yelled in fear, running around as shots of fire were fired at them. They had traveled using the rainbow bridge, which had perversely been destroyed, and was now reperred by the power of the Tesseract. The Cube later being returned to the weapons vault. Athalia was in her Asgardian armor. The tight leather body suit wrapped around her body.

The Bifrost opened, sending the two siblings to Vanheim. Before the magic of the Biforst had disappeared, Thor had thrown his hammer towards a Marauder before returning it to his hand. The dust around them cleared, exposing the full damage around them.

Athalia swung her spear around, twirling it in her hands helping her block the sword being flung at her face. The two weapons came in contact, clinking together. Athalia used her strength to push against the Marauder, their sword flying out of their hands. With one slash across the chest, the rebel fell to the ground, blood seeping from its wound.

Thor had jumped in the air, summoning a serge of lighting, shaming his hammer to the ground and sending electricity through the dirt knocking the people around him. Blasts were shot from guns setting buildings around them on fire. The people of Vanaheim ran away trying to take cover.

"I've got this completely under control!" Lady Sif yelled at the siblings over all the fighting. Twirling her sword in her hand, her shield protecting her.

Athalia looked around. She could feel the presence of a Marauder creeping behind her. She flipped backward, her spear still in her hand, landing on their shoulder. They wiggled around and tried to shack her body off of theirs. With her legs wrapped around their neck, she used her body weight to pull them both to the ground, a sharp pain shooting through their neck.

"Is that why everything is on fire?" Athalia asked as she stood to her feet. Sif rolled her eyes, playfully, at the princess' words making her smirk.

Spinning on her heels, Athalia kicked another person in the face. Knocking them down to the ground. She aimed her hand at their legs, freezing them in that one spot. Bringing her spear back to her hands, she started to fling it around. She noticed an arrow being shot towards Fandral, the blonde warrior not noticing the flying weapons. Putting her hand on the dirty ground, she formed an ice wall, catching the arrow before it could spin through his head. The blonde warrior saw the ice wall from the corner of his eye. He turned to the Princess with an almost confused look on his face.

She smirked, blowing him a kiss. "You're welcome."

The sound of loud thudding stopped everyone from fighting, the shaking the ground echoing around. Everyone turned to where the giant rock creature Marauder walking into the fight. Athalia let out a sigh as she watched the creature make its way toward her brother, swinging its club and sending another member of the Marauders flying. The blonde god took a few steps forward. The rock creature flung his club, crashing it into the ground and making the dirt fly into the sky before letting out a loud roar.

"Hello," Thor said to the creature. The pile of rocks growled, "I accept your surrender." Thor said, looking up. His eyes squinted as he looked up into the sky. The god slowly started to swing his hammer in his hand, throwing his arm up he shuttered the rocks, killing the being, and making them fall back to the ground.

Thor looked around, "Anyone else?" Athalia smirked as she watched the remained Marauders take a knee. Fandral looked around then turned to speak to the royals;

"Perhaps next time we should start with the big one."

When everything had calmed down and the buildings were no longer on fire, the members of the Marauders were put in handcuffed and taken away. It had gotten dark, the sun setting. Volstagg, Fandral, and Lady Sif had traveled home again through the Bifrost. The people of Vanheim were happy, relaxed, and at peace. The children running around, laughing.

"Keep moving. Go ahead of me. Don't you turn around!" A guard yelled.

Hogun walked with Athalia and Thor, "Where do we go next?" The black-haired warrior asked.

"Hogun, the peace is nearly won across the Nine Realms," Athalia said as they stopped walking. She looked over the land. "You should stay here. Be with your people, where your heart is. Asgard can wait." She was going to be upset to see one of her dear friends leave but she noticed the way he felt in his home realm.

Hogun smiled, looking down at the ground. "You two have my thanks." He replied, shaking Thor's hand. Upon letting go of the god of thunder's hand, the warrior moved to the goddess of magic, kissing her knuckles.

Thor spoke, "As you have ours." And with that, Hogun left. Leaving the two alone. Athalia scanned her eyes over the land one last time, "Heimdall, when you're ready." Thor said to the sky. The new Bifrost opened, returning the siblings home.

"Is Vanaheim secure?" Odin asked his two children as they joined his watching the warriors train. The sound of swords clunking against the shields or other swords. People groaned when the sharp blades came in contact with their skin.

"As are Nornheim and Ria." Thor told his father. "Though our work would have gone more quickly with you at the fore."

"You must think I'm a piece of bread. That needs to be buttered so heavily." Odin replied, not looking at his children. He just continued to watch the training happening in front of them. Athalia rested her hands against the stone wall at the top of the stairs.

"I don't think that was Thor's intent." Athalia smiled, at her older brother. Seeing a smirk form on his lisp.

"For the first time since Bifrost was destroyed, the Nine Realms are at peace." Odin explained, "They're well reminded of our strength and you both have earned their respect and my gratitude." He said finally looking at them.

Both of the siblings looked down, "Thank you."

"Nothing out of order. Except you confused and distracted heart."

"That isn't about Jane Foster, Father."

"Yes it is," Athalia mumbled quickly earning a glare from Thor.

"Human lives are fleeting, they're nothing." Odin said, holding his hand out to the warriors training, "You'd be better served by what lies in front of you. I'm telling you this not as the Allfather, but as your father. You are ready. This time has come for you to take the throne. Embrace and celebrate what you've won. Join your warriors. Eat and drink, revel in their celebration. At least pretend to enjoy yourself."
