"What do you mean by "Jinzo's after you"? He's not generally a malevolent guy unless you interrupt his dinner time." Liz explained to us as she explained, "My mom works with the paranormal involving duel monsters. I know quite a lot about each spirit, including the fact that Jinzo can be petty as hell." Chasing after the duel spirit with Jaden, Banner and our friends followed as she got her duel disk ready, "I'll duel you for their freedom, Jinzo. On the condition that you never come back to this place, no matter who summons you!" He agreed while showing himself, a duel disk on his arm as the duel began between them, "I can't wait to absorb your spirit, your mother trumped me more than enough for this to be called revenge." Summoning her dragon, he was able to block her Kimodo Dragon's effect which made her smirk, "I activate my trap card, Vicarious Rope!" He groaned as she played her second ace monster, "Go, I fusion summon Hydra Knight!" The draconoid knight fusion was summoned in attack position as she cornered Jinzo, who had five hundred life points left, "Belfyre Shower!!" She shouted as it destroyed Jinzo due to it's special effect.

"Very well, I hate that I won't get my revenge but even this fool's body has failed me. You all escape, for today." He vanished, as Lisetta's body returned to normal with Torrey also waking up, "Good riddance, jerk!!" She turned to me and smiled, "That's the last we'll be seeing him for a while." She then asked me while pointing at kuriboh who was next to me, "Why is the little guys out?" The fact she could see spirits was a little cool and jarring but it became irrelevant, when she was asked out by Herrington Rose after vacation break ended, who wanted to be her fiancé or what ever that means. "Fat chance of that, jerk. Now leave me alone, I'd like to spend some time with my friend." She was annoyed by him so instead of taking his chance to duel, I had agreed to do it so he'd leave her alone and stop making a fool of himself. "I'm not looking for a boyfriend anyway." She grumbled as we dueled, making Rosewood glare at me hard.

"Good job, Jay." She walked up to him after telling him about how Banner spotted Chazz, "What does fiancé even mean?" She blushed a little but told him, "It means best friend." He smiled while chuckling, "So you really think of me as your best friend?" Liz nodded, while telling him, "Yeah, if my mother trusted you with my card at the start of the year, then you can't be all bad." She giggled while stowing her duel disk away, then finally had that long awaited dinner date  that Jaden owed her, which she invited their friends to as well. "I'm paying for all of this?" He asked as she shook her head, "I am. Next time you pay." Walking her back to her dorm room, they passed another Ra student who was part of the male dorms, Brier. 

"Hey, Brier! How are you?" Her question made him blush as his stage fright and lack of social skills making it hard to speak, "..G...oo...d.." She smiled while patting his shoulder, "Good! Tell Beauregard I said hi!" She ran off to her dorm, with Jaden but helped him in his search for the duel giant, Bastion telling them about how Brier and Beauregard were friends but neither had any confidence in dueling. "It's true, Brier is exceptionally smart but he has performance anxiety, so he usually fails his duels." Her eyes widened when she saw the duel giant that night, "Beauregard? Why's Brier hiding under there?" Both blushed in embarrassment, when seeing that they were caught by the rose of the Ra yellow first years, "We won't report you two but you need to practice and do try to let some things roll off your shoulders." They thanked her then yelled they would make her proud, though she didn't see them the next day because she was helping Jaden with his homework, after they "failed" to catch Brier and Beauregard. 

"This isn't fair to them, Dr. Crowler!" She protested as the boys filled out homework which made Crowler tell her, "Then you help them Ms. Muto, I have places to be." She grumbled after he left, "God that guy is way to immature to be an educator." Jaden glanced at her as she complained, but couldn't place why kuriboh was telling him to keep Liz around, or what it meant when it said she was only half but still like family to it. "Jay?" She was super close to his face as she leaned forward to make sure he was okay, "I-I'm good!" He shouted in surprise as she gave a relieved smile, "I almost thought you got a heart attack from all that homework for a minute there." She chuckled as Chumley laughed at her joke, then genuinely started helping her two goofball friends with the huge stack of homework papers, clearing half of them in no time. 

"Hmmm....well I think that's where we can take a break for the night guys. Crowler can't get made for saying that you need sleep because he sleeps in a lot, so you should head off to bed." She took the remaining papers back to her dorm and finished them for her them, leaning back on her bed as Alexis called her on her PDA, "How's it going, Lisa?" She asked as the younger teen by a year responded, "Fine, I just finished the boys' punishment from Crowler because they would've collapsed if they tried to finish it." Alexis smirked, "You like Jaden don't you? I mean he dueled to be your fiancé and all." Her face turned red, 'I don't Alexis, so stop entertaining such a notion. I intend to stay single for the rest of my life, because no one would want me anyway." The blonde asked her, "Is this because of the fact that you're a hybrid?" The purple and black haired teen flinched, "Yes. No one would even want to get near me if they learned that I was half duel spirit and half human." 

Alexis tried to reassure her but Liz ended the call, her heart conflicted on what she should do with her feelings, and how she would even go about making Jaden aware of what she was as well as how she felt about him.
