"What's this nonsense about the Society of Light? Because if your manager really thought having Chazz as a member was smart, then I seriously question Sartorius's intelligence." Standing about ten feet away from Aster due to Jaden's insistence, he agreed while telling us, "Ever since I lost to your Darkness Rising monsters, I haven't been able to get a hold of Sartorius." Alexis lost to Chazz in her duel, which caused her to be taken over by the Light of Destruction, "I understand that he's taken over by the Light of Destruction, but why does he have to sound so gosh darn creepy?" Mindy and Jasmine agreed, but were unable to help Alexis after she became brainwashed by the malevolent light, making them follow me like lost puppies while we waited for Sartorius's next move. "As far as I know, Sartorius now believes due to his cards that he doesn't need me but needs Jaden and Lisetta." Both of us rolled our eyes when Alexis sent a letter to him for a "date", which she only did because of the stupid light controlling her via Sartorius, otherwise she knew that I would kick her ass for doing that.
"He thinks he needs us, now that he's seen how your Destiny Heroes have a weakness." Aster nodded while respecting my space, due to the death glares that Jaden was sending him in between turns. 'It's kind of cute that he gets so jealous even though I have no plans to leave him.' He glanced at me as he won the duel with ease, causing Lorenzo to be fully taken over by Sartorius and the Light, "Did you see that, Lizzy!?" He called with my face turning red from the nickname, running to the sidelines where I had been watching with our friends, "I did it!"

Attack of the Lawyer!

"What's this about? It's too early for me to want to crush a lawyer." X glared at me as I smirked, "Let's get this duel over with so I can go on a date with my Jay-bear, X!" Drawing my hand I had the cards I needed to beat him, "I summon Dark Rising Fire Princess in attack mode!" X smirked while mocking me for summoning a monster that couldn't beat his, "Au contrare, X. My Fire Princess's ability allows me to destroy your hand and deal two hundred points of damage for each of your cards in your hand!" He growled as he lost eight hundred points of damage to his life points, "Now I play my spell, Call of Anguish! It allows me to use all the cards you've stolen from me, summoning my Dark Rising Ice Sindragon to the field in attack position, while activating my spell cards: Dark Illustrator and Scramble Bonus!" He growled as I called, "It doubles the effect of Dark Illustrator and allows me to draw ten cards from the top of my deck!" He played four separate traps and spells that allowed him to steal half of my hand that consisted of twenty cards, "I activate Ice Sindragon's ability! It allows me to inflict two hundred points of damage for each card you took from me with your traps and spells!" He was down to two thousand life points after having gotten my deck down to seven cards, "Now go, take out the rest of his life points with your attack, Fire Hailstorm!!"
X was in disbelief that he lost but I smirked, "Thanks for playing, but I have to get to my date now. Ciao!" Running off to see Jaden, he was happy that I made it to our date on time but I couldn't help but question why Aster was watching my duel, even though he didn't say anything...I could hear him. "Lizzy?" I looked at Jaden who was wondering why I hadn't eaten yet, "Sorry, I'm still a little worn out from the duel I had earlier." He asked me who it was that I dueled, "Some guy named X. He said he was Sartorius's lawyer." I ate some of my food and he nodded, "So you kicked another lawyer's butt? Who was the last guy? Didn't he have the same name as Aster's last name?" A giggle left me as we enjoyed the rest of our night but I had started hearing voices in my sleep, sometimes in the hours before I was to fall asleep. It talked about how I was the same as it and how we needed to be one again, to protect someone with our lives, but I could bear to listen to it...so I had started taking sleeping pills without telling anyone.
[A few hours later in the morning]
"Wake up, brat. We need to protect him. You need to protect him for me...until the two of us can merge once more and have him all for ourselves." My eyes shot open as I saw sunlight filtering in through the window, and the sounds of a duel from outside which made me hobble out in my red silk pajamas, "Hassleberry?! What are you doing?" Sartorius stood above Tyranno, while expecting him to be his slave which the dino loving duelist responded, leaving as I ran downstairs to see Jaden. Though Sartorius later ended up enrolling in the school, while staring down Jaden and I, his eyes full of determination to use us in his plans. "I have to duel Rose to see where our trip will be?" I was in disbelief as the bags under my eyes showed, "I'm far too sleep deprived from last night and yesterday's duel debacle to face her." Bonaparte told me to find a replacement to duel her but before I could respond, Jaden chimed in from over my shoulder, "I'll do it."
He smiled, "Because I want our school trip to be to Domino City!" Some sweat rolled down my neck as I told him, "Then I guess that means I'll have to tell my Grandpa to prepare two rooms." Jaden became overjoyed about staying at the Kame Game Shop again, but I just knew that I'd be interrogated by him on my wellbeing at the academy, since I forgot to respond to his last letter. 'Oh boy, this is gonna be one heck of a trip home.'
