"Dad's deck is going to be displayed here?" My words made my friends ask if I knew what was in his cards, "Nope, afraid I didn't quite listen when he would tell me stories about he met my mom." I sheepishly smiled, "I don't exactly go for the romance stuff if you catch my drift." They smiled as we headed to the exhibition hall, where the deck would be, but it wasn't there because a cookie cutter named Dimitri stole it, "That won't stand! I challenge you to a duel, Dimitri!" My shout made him growl as he took on the personality of my ancestor, and honorary great uncle Pharoah Atem aka Yami Yugi the guy who defeated Marik, "I accept, but prepare to lose!" I glared while readying my duel disk and shouting, "Let's duel!" Drawing a card, I managed to draw Kidmodo Dragon in addition to my hand, which consisted of: Yellow Luster Dragon, Red Luster Dragon, Horn of the Unicorn, and Black Pendant. "I summon Yellow Luster Dragon in attack position, and it's special effect makes it so its partner can come out too! Rise, Red Luster Dragon and Blue Luster Dragon!!"

Dimitri was backed into a corner due to the second special effect that all my dragons shared, preventing them from being destroyed by any of his monsters. "I play two face down cards and end my turn!" Fusion summoning the Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast, he played a face down and ended his turn as I glared, "I draw!" My eyes scanned my cards as I saw what I could do, "I play a monster in face down defense position and activate both of my face down equip spells!" Equipping them to my newly fusion summoned Luster Champion, its attack points exceeded twelve hundred above it's original four thousand, "Go, Luster Champion! Gem Fire Blast!" Using Premature Burial, Dimitri had summoned Dark Magician from the graveyard which made me smirk, "Not so fast! I negate your thousand knives with my quick play spell, De-Spell!!" Dimitri was stuck, as it was destroyed and Dark Magician couldn't destroy my Luster Champion, "Now go, I summon Ice Lancer #2 in attack position!" The medieval ice knight rose to the field with its two thousand attack points, "How is that possible!?"

His shouted made me smirk, "Ice Lancer's special ability swaps the attack and defense of one monster, and I choose Ice Lancer itself!" My hand aimed at Dimitri, "Now go Luster Champion, attack his Dark Magician of Chaos!" Destroying the strong monster, Dimitri was on the ropes with his life points at four hundred, "Finish this, Ice Lancer!" It finished his attack points and the duel was over, "She really won!!" Someone shouted as I saw the spectators watching our duel, "How....how did I lose to her even with Yugi's deck?!" Dimitri despaired as I took back the deck from him, "Because one thing my dad always told me, was that, when you use someone else's deck...there is no way to believe in your cards. The heart of your cards because they are not your own, so why don't you start making your own deck?" I extended my hand toward him, "It could help if you first understand yourself first, and then your connection to your deck would be even stronger." Dimitri swatted my hand away, "Yeah right! I'll find an even stronger deck to copy and I'll use it to get my revenge!"

He ran off as I sighed, "That kid needs to learn to listen more." Zane and Alexis snuck up behind me, "You're right, he does. Though I don't think he'll learn that lesson any time soon." I was confused until I saw that Dimitri cross-dressed to try and copy me, "Oh, boy." I groaned as he challenged me to a duel over the course of the next few days, but lost each time which made me hide out at Jaden's dorm room for a while. "He still won't leave you alone?" Chumley asked as I nodded, "He insists that he can beat me with my own monsters but my dragons are fiercely loyal to me." The doorknob shook, as I saw that Blair a new transfer student would be rooming in the already cramped room, "Hi, my name's Lisetta. I'm in Ra Yellow but for circumstances I'm hiding out here." She smiled at me but I just wanted to know why everyone in the red dorm, was so oblivious to the fact that Blair was actually a girl. "Nice to meet you." She had a small blush on her face, but she looked to only be in grade school, so it was a miracle she faked her way into Duel Academy over a crush.

"So I see you figured it out?" My question interrupted the duel between Blair and Jaden, "How did you get here?" the grade schooler called as I told them, "I thought that this might happen and I wanted to see if you had potential to attend here after you finish middle school, Blair." She glared after the battle ended because she developed a crush on Jaden, and it was obvious he had interest in me I guess?

"I'll be back for you my dear prince! I love you!!" My face turned to that of annoyance, "They don't make cards to counter crush stricken young girls, but that's why you have a best friend like me Jaden." I elbowed his side playfully, "Now let's head back to the dorm. Dimitri is apparently still stalking around the Ra Yellow Girls dorm, so I wouldn't move the bed Blair was going to use if I were you." He blushed but even harder when I teased him, "What did you think I was going to let you share a bed with me?" He started to babble profusely until I giggled, "I'm just kidding, you'd have to take me out on a few dates first dork." He seemed to be about to faint from the embarrassment so I stopped as we headed into his room, careful to make sure Banner wasn't around. "Night, Jaden."
