"If that's what you want, then we could go to my grandpa's shop I guess. My dad isn't home because he went to India with my mom, so there should be enough room there." Jaden lit up as I told him that we'd be living in the apartment above the Kame Game Shop, but the plan didn't go ahead because my duel spirit friends who were part of a discarded Neo-Space deck, had made him take them back to Duel Academy with him. Making me leave a message on Gramps invoice, to let him know that we weren't giving up so easily against Sartorius and his cult, something I know that made him feel proud because of my inability to give up. "So, what did my friends tell you?" I leaned over Jaden while we were still in the boat and he blushed, "To stop Sartorius, and the Light of Calamity." I lent my hand to him in order to help him up, "Good, I may or may not have made a deal with some friends of my own."
I showed him my new Darkness Rising Cards, which were darker alter ego versions of my normal line up that I liked using, but rather than being imbued by darkness despite being Dark attributes - they were more like anti-hero cards. "We can beat them with these, and your Neo-Space Heroes." My cheeky smile made him share the same look, as we returned to the island and had came upon Professor Sartyr dueling Tyranno. "Who the hell did the cooking while I was gone?!" Sartyr looked at me then smiled, "Well, I took it up recently after you left and was wondering if I could do so for a while, I am very lonely you see." I couldn't take the one thing away from him, so I let him have it as we went off to find Aster, who newly arrived on the island again with his pompous attitude. "I'll duel him in Alexis's place, Bonaparte!" Aster smirked when seeing that I was the one who would be dueling him, my power being the only thing combined with Jaden's that could stop the Light of Destruction, "Duel, let's get this over with Aster!"
Drawing my card, I had smirked, "I summon Dark Ice Lancer #1 in defense position! It's effect also allows me to summon Dark Ice Lancer #2 in attack position!" Playing my spell card, I smirked, "I play my spell card, Pacifier of Light! It's the same effect as Pacifier of Doom but allows me to summon a star level 6-12 Dark Rising monster from my deck!!" Placing my card down, I shouted, "Go forth, Dark Rising Lancer of the Frost!" It's two thousand attack and nineteen hundred defense points had Aster backed into a corner, "Kick his butt, Liz!!" Jaden shouted as I commanded it to attack his Shining Phoenix Enforcer, "It's special effect activated which allows it to gain half the attack points of the monster I'm attacking! Now destroy Shining Phoenix Enforcer!" It destroyed it while sending it to the graveyard, "Now I activate Canyon of Darkness!!" It destroyed his field spell that allowed a power up to his Destiny Heroes, "Now I set two cards face down and end my turn!"
He smirked while trying to destroy my field spell with Mausoleum of the Emperor, but it didn't work which made him double take, "I activate my trap cards, Adhesive Trap Hole and A False Feint Attack!" Stopping his Destiny Hero from taking out Dark Rising Ice Lancer of the Frost, I smirked as I drew my card, "Go, Polymerization!!" Fusing all three lancers together, I had shouted, "Go, Dark Rising Army of the Ice Kingdom!!" It rose up with as many attack points as a super powered up Aqua Neos, "Now go! I activate your ability which allows you to attack Aster's life points directly!!" Aster shouted in pain as his life points landed at exactly a hundred, "Now I activate my Dark Rising Lancer's second ability! When it successfully inflicts damage with it's first ability, the attack point it borrowed get delivered back to you as direct damage to your life points!" Aster groaned as he lost the last of his life points, "That's game, Aster." Our monsters vanished from the field as I tossed Alexis her duel disk back, "Wow, wow, wow! Now I really do think I'm in love!"
Pushing Aster back with a disgusted look, I rolled my eyes, "Great another love sick dud like Atticus." Jaden swooped in to pull me away from the pro duelist, "Yep, and I'm keeping you away from him." A sigh left me as I pecked Jaden on his head, "You're lucky I love you, dork." He smiled cheesily as I looked at my new cards, which were like a gift from my Grandpa who had made them with my dad, but didn't give them to me until I was ready. After all, I'd never tell Jaden but while he went to the spirit realm to get his Neo-Spacian deck, I got a little airdrop mail from my dad's new carrier hawk with the Dark Rising Deck in it. 'I guess even my dad knows that something's up here with Aster's manager. He was pretty rattled over the cards vanishing when the sacred beasts were used by Kagemaru. Gramps told me he bolted right out of the store with mom to go confront Kaiba about it, since it was under his institution where they were guarded.'

"Crowler and Bonaparte are dueling to decide the fate of our dorm? I thought Crowler gave no craps about this place." Pharaoh sat beside me as I watched the poor trash talk between Bonaparte and Crowler, the duel quickly turning to Bonaparte's favor until our least favorite blonde educator, got around his Unfair Treaty spell. Saving our dorm while expressing that he did have some degree of care for the Slifer dorm. Even Pharaoh started liking him more, until he tried to lay own his foot and made him run off in the distance, while wailing about how the cat was flea infested. "Some things never change."
