Turning the Tables

"Is that Belowski and Damon?" Alicia was looking at the two students her idol was pointing at, "Belowski has a habit of making people around him chill, and Damon is a hot primitive hunk with an excellent draw sense." Her "protege" nodded as she watched the remainder of the duel where he won, with the pro-duelist mathematician being sent packing. "Wow, both of them are really cute." Alicia stated which made her shake her head when remembering Zane and Atticus, with Belowski's ability to drowsy people to sleep winning him the duel. "Jasmine, Mindy?" Liz ran as she saw her two friends being cornered by the Maitre'D which made Liz tag team him with Alexis, "Let's do this creep!" They both shouted as he started to say misogynistic statements, "I draw! Let's go, Dark Rising Ice Phoenix!" Alexis fused it with Benten to form Dark Rising Ice Benten Phoenix Reborn, using it in conjunction with Cyber Tutu to beat the pro-duelist into next week. "Now, go run home to Paris you wannabe waiter!!" 

Liz turned to Alexis after she insulted the fleeing duelist, "Just so you know, this doesn't make us friends again." The puppet of the society returned her sentiment, "Why would I want to be friends with a lose like you?" She walked away while insulting Mindy and Jasmine who were surprised but endured it, because they overheard Chazz say that she was struggling with her loyalties, and therefore Sartorius's mind control. "Jaden look out!" Liz blocked him from the Reaper who was a card monster that made deals, in order to take human souls similar to Jinzo and gain a real form to terrorize the living, "I'll take him on, so stand back Jaden!" Liz wanted to defend Jaden from the fiendish card, who made his chosen duelist fight the hybrid teen who was able to combat it, defeating him with ease while swearing at the dastardly card. Seriously there was so much swearing that all of it is being omitted because of how foul it was.

"Wait those two dorks believe they've been fired?" I asked as Liz nodded, "Yep, Shepperd just wanted them out of his office but they took it as being fired." She looked up while waving at her dad's friend, Pegasus who had waved down from his helicopter, "Everything okay?" I asked as he told us about the satellite and how Sartorius had control  over it, "That can't be good, you should go talk to them." Calling Shepperd to tell him about the situation, he sighed while telling me, "I just meant that I wanted them out of the office." Liz chuckled as her technical uncle I guess (?) had beaten them with his toon monsters, "Go, Maxy!!" She shouted as he smiled, "Thanks, Lisetta!" He called as he easily schooled the power hungry fools, with Chazz, Syrus, and Hassleberry enjoying the sight of them fighting. "Oh how great the leaders are that ran our school in Shepperd's absence." She sighed as I agreed, but when it came time to bring Alexis back, Chazz wanted Liz to duel her instead of me.

"You guys are best friends and that way you can save her." Lisetta wasn't against it but I was because if she lost, then she'd be used as a pawn in Sartorius's scheme, because he was conflicted against the darkness controlling him with only Sarina to try and bring back his true self. According to Winged Kuriboh anyway, and the fact that she could be targeted had me worried more than Alexis's wellbeing. "Let's duel Alexis!" She shouted as she dueled her even though her eyes were practically lifeless, using her regular line up of monsters to snap her back to normal even though she kept striking them down, "Come back to me, Alexis!!" She shouted as she battled with all her might, "ALEXIS!!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, as her eyes returned to normal with the blankness in them vanishing as she returned to normal, "Lisetta?" Liz helped her up from the ground after she beat her in a duel, "Back to it, Lex. We gotta take down Sartorius or rather the dark light controlling him." 

Atticus asked her what she was talking about as Alicia gave a questionative look as well, "There is an entity that Atem warned my father about before he passed on to the afterlife and buried the Millennium items with him. " She told us, "The entity is called the Light of Destruction and it is a malevolent celestial entity that seeks to unite all the realms under its twisted rule." She finished, "That same entity has possessed Sartorius and caused his current actions, as it used to possess Aster's former legal guardian until he met with Sartorius when he was still a fortune teller." Lisetta had told us, "The light is going to use his brainwashed servants to send everything they've got at us in order to get those satellite keys." She gripped my hand, while finally stating, "I believe that the force that took over me in Domino City, was also corrupted by the Light of Destruction." She had sighed after explaining everything then laid her head on my shoulder, "Why are we always attracting trouble guys?"

Alexis had told the two of us, "Because that's just what we do, Liz." She smiled, "Yeah, I guess you're right!"
