"......" Her eyes struggled to open as I sat by her side, those bio-bands costing her most of the energy she used to sustain herself, but luckily I was able to wake up before her. "Jay?" She asked while I threw myself in a hug around her, since I was so worried when Ms. Fontaine suggested that the two of us had a pre-existing condition that caused the fatigue, "What happened? Why is everyone huddled around me?" Sitting her up, she was able to eat as I hand fed her with Blair glaring at her and Alexis holding her back by the collar, until she got up and ran off when hearing something. Myself and the others chasing after her, once we heard the diagnosis that Fontaine had given her. "I need to find Viper and duel him!" She bumped into Jess who helped her up, "Oh, thanks Jess." She blushed until Shirley, Jim's pet had bit Hassleberry's butt hard. "You're saying someone's administering a concentrated wave to trigger someone's primal instincts?" Jim nodded while calling her a smart shirley, which made her face turn red again until I pulled her back, "So where are we going exactly?"

Jim had helped us hold Tyranno back after his dinosaur bone caused him to act up, "Hassleberry, you need to calm down!" Liz called as Jim decided to duel our friend, who was in a dino rage which made Sy who was wearing his Ra coat, back up as they dueled. "Um, I think Jim is gonna lose." Liz stated while holding onto my arm as she barely withstood the duel, her legs and basically her whole body still weak from being forcibly drained of her energy, but her prediction turned out to be true as Jim lost but thankfully brought Hassleberry back.

"I'm locked in my body?" I asked as Jess and Jay had asked what my duel spirits meant by that, "It means that due to draining my duel monster half of my energy, I can't leave my body to go to the duel spirit realm or duel at full strength." The whole school had been knocked out after the duel party, with only my friends and I not knocked out, and allowed us to investigate Viper. "He's at a facility on the island." They all looked at me as I told them, "I may not be able to sense energies right now or leave to check the state of the duel spirit world but i can track where my energy was stolen and stored." Readying my duel disk, they were surprised I still had energy to move much less run as I led them to the lab, breaking in and finding out where my energy was. "Give me back my powers, jackass!!" Viper had sent Dr. Stein after us instead of facing us himself, the energy that was taken from me causing Viper to achieve his goal,  after Axel brought us to where Viper was.

"No!!" I shouted as he transported everyone to the world where Yubel was trapped and ruling over, myself separated from Jaden as Yubel talked to me and tried to sway me into joining her, giving up myself to her even though I had no intention to. "Stop! Get Out Of mY HEaD!!!" My spirits who were alive around me warded her off as I calmed down, and started to navigate my way through the sands in order to find my friends, "Jay, Jesse!?" I shouted as I heard them respond, "Lisetta!!!" They shouted as they saw me, my spirits helping to get them out of danger as I told them, "Spear Dragon, go attack that Harpy Lady!!" They saved our two acting leaders who fell on their bums, "This is the duel spirit realm, guys. This is a realm where you can summon your monsters, and they'll help you." Going inside the school, Fontaine helped Jaden as I stood by him and sighed, "You realize that you're injured right?" Jaden huffed while hugging me, "I know, but we need to stay strong."

They all looked to me for an explanation since they all knew what I was, "We're in one of the twelve dimensions. This one acts as a bridge between the duel spirit realm and the real world. But I don't know how we're going to get back, because I don't have my powers back and I can't tell where in this dimension we are." Jim and the others were impressed that I was familiar with the dimension we were in, "I'm familiar with this place because I was born here before I got a human form. This is where my spirit was raised until I was relocated to the safer Duel Spirit Dimension." Running outside, I had seen Bastion who was being attacked by another Harpy Lady, "Go, Sapphire Luster Dragon!" It destroyed the Harpy Lady as she growled, flying away as we got bastion to the school safely. "This is the unsafe Duel Spirit Dimension. There exists another that is safer but this is the volatile one." 

Blair had become ill from the sudden transfer which made Yubel call to me in an attempt to get me to be her pawn, but I refused even after she trapped us in a submarine when we were looking for medicine for Blair. "I'm not giving in to you, Yubel!" I shouted while I was separated from my friends which made her cackle, as the drain from the bio-bands caused everyone to turn into dueling ghouls, "I can prevent that but only if you give into me, because there are far greater things that the two of us need to achieve as one." She kept trying to pry into me even as the start of becoming a ghoul kicked in, "....I won't let you control me but I need your help to stop me from becoming a ghoul..." Yubel cackled again while reminding me, of how she was already playing Adrian and Marcel like fiddles, "Fine, I shall prevent the ghoulification only because you've agreed to at least let me in a little." Her power surged in me, as she destroyed the bio band around my wrist, but it also infected my cards again as I broke out from the submarine and saw my friends.

"Jay, everyone!" Falling over as she finally took root in my head after abandoning Marcel's body, which she used to spread the ghoulification process faster in order to create her forces of darkness, "You guys, go!! You need to take Blair and get out of here!!!" They were reluctant to leave me behind but I forced them to go along with Alicia, who was one of the few students unaffected by Yubel's powers. "You wanted a duel?" My duel disk activated, "You're gonna get one!"
