There were no remnants of Peter left. Not one spec of blood was even left behind from the massacre. Juliet burned what was left of him with Phoenix fire, then disposed of the ashes in a nearby creek. If she was to be under the guise that she was to be a loyal deatheater, she couldn't have Voldemort finding out she murdered one of his own.Juliet and Kai returned to the Cave shortly after. She had cleaned herself of Peter with a few charms, as if nothing had happened. Usually, one would feel remorse for committing such a heinous act.
But Juliet... she felt nothing. Not joy nor sadness nor anger. Just nothing.
Peter was gone. A problem solved. A name checked off a list.
She felt incredible in the moment, but no different after. As if... it had never happened at all.
The next two days at the pack was simple. Juliet had wrestling matches with multiple wolves. She went on hunts. And had a genuinely good time. Especially since Greyback was rare to be seen.
She was reluctant to leave them, knowing she wouldn't be back until spring. But she had no choice. She hugged the twins tight. "Be good, you two. Make mischief. But not to much. I taught you how to cover your tracks, do it." She kissed each of their heads as she spoke. She made sure to sign it for Ally.
"Whatever you say, Mama." Alfie said, the word Mama slipping off his tongue as if an every day word.
Juliet stilled and stared at Alfie, then Ally when she signed Mom as well. "I'm... huh?"
"Mama." Alfie confirmed with a nod of his head. "You take care of us. So your our Mama. Thats how it works."
She bit back the smallest tears that threatened her eyes. "So, does that make Kai your dad then?"
Kai scoffed from behind her. "No way in fuck—ow!" He cursed when Juliet elbowed him in the gut.
"Kids, Kai." She glared at him. "Either way, i need to head back before the Portkey leaves without me." With one last sad smile down to them, she set off for the Portkey at the bottom of the mountain.

As it was Christmas Eve, Grimmauld Place was fully decked out in as much Christmas decor as humanly possible. It was one of Sirius' favorite holidays, after all. As everyone decorated he even began to sing 'God Rest Ye Merry Hippogriffs' as he hung ornaments on their tree.
It was a time of joy and relaxation for the Lupin, Weasleys, and Potter-Blacks. Something they didn't get often. For two days, at least, they'd let themselves forget about the war. Focus on family.
Two year old Jamie got to put the star on the tree, with Sirius lifting him to set it on top. Edith stood by with a muggle camera to snap a picture.
Juliet arrived home just before dinner. She bursted through the doors to make a grand entrance, as you usually would. "Drinking time!" She held up two bottles of muggle Whiskey, which she totally didn't use a Dark Magic spell to steal from a muggle liquor store.
"Hell yeah!" Sirius cheered her on, snatching one of the bottles from her hands as she set her backpack down.
Remus sighed, running a hand down his face. "Sirius, are you encouraging my underage daughter to drink?"
Sirius grinned and snapped the cork of the bottle off. "Yes i am Mister Moony. The witch will be seventeen in January, let her have a little fun."
Edith snagged the bottle from Sirius before he could take a sip. She took a long swig instead. "Remus, my love, we were getting drunk at fifteen. Thats actually how I lost my virginity, fun fact."
