Time flew away in a blink, and the day for Raya to get stuck in a marriage with a man she hates the most in the world, had approached.
"Perfect."
"My daughter looks so gorgeous."
She gave the stylist and her mom a small smile in return before picking her phone up from the counter. "Hm!! No phone today. It's the most important day of your life, how can you just mindlessly be in phone?" Her mom snatched her phone away from her, before she could even unlock it.
"Mumma please, I need to call Heeseung."
"I'll inform your dad, he'll call him, we have to leave or else we'll be late for the wedding."
She sighed in defeat and nodded, as they made their way outside.
Her mom helped her with the dress as she sat inside the car while lifting her wedding gown a little to prevent having any accident.
After making her comfortable, her mom also sat inside the car and gestured for the driver to start driving.
Upon reaching the venue, they encountered some guards and Raya's dad who were there to help them.
Her dad lead them inside as each pair of eyes fell upon them, she was looking down the whole time, not seeking interest in anything.
Once they stopped walking, her dad raised his intertwined hands with her as Jake extended his hands out for her. Mr Shin placed her hands in Jake's as he slowly pulled her towards him till she was standing infront of him.
Her parents then walked over to Jake parents as the priest started the wedding.
"I remember someone saying, 'I will not marry you' what happened now?"
He whispered, mockingly which didn't failed to offend her. "Nothing lasts forever, fucker." She replied in a whisper earning another mocking expression from him.
The priest lead the couple through traditional wedding rituals, which is exchanging rings.
Mrs Sim, opened the the small box indicating Jake to take the ring out, which he did and wore her in the ring finger as everyone clapped for them. Then it was Raya's turn as she took the ring from her dad and wore him.
"Do you, Mr Sim Jaeyun, take Ms Shin Raya to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish, for better or worse, till death do you part?" The priest asked after the other rituals were completed.
"Yes, I do."
"Do you, Ms Shin Raya, take Mr Sim Jaeyun to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish, for better or worse, till death do you part?"
No one had an idea of how desperately Raya wanted to decline the wedding by saying no and ran off of the venue but she couldn't do so.
