"Chief!... Chief wa...ke up!" Cortana called out to the disoriented Spartan who had briefly lost focus when he had fell from the room where he was previously just battling the covenants and their leader.

Then explosions happened and the floor collapsed due to the damage caused by that pack of bombs that the prophet of Regret had detonated which lead to his own fall into the cavern hidden beneath or likely... sealed off by the broken floor.

Not to mention how a Zohar Relic as it's called had covered the doorway that is leading below... likely indicating that the door was holding something none of the maker of the facility wanted to be freed.

Minutes passed by since he fell and was caught by something he wasn't able to note due to his dizzy mind being caught by the blast that separated him from the rest of his team who've likely retreated.

The fall fate like hours had passed even when only a few minutes passed by as he continue to fall, he wondered if their is any end to where he was falling since it felt like he was eternally falling down.

Hearing Cortana voice helped regaining his consciousness from the brief disorientation and dizziness that he had originally experienced as he noted that he is wrapped in an orb of shining light.

"Chief answer me! you okay?!" Called out by Cortana from his helmet as he grunts slightly which made the AI sigh in relief as she notice him being fine much to the AI relief after trying to gain a reaction.

"I'm fine, where are we heading?" Chief first asked while regaining his footing inside the orb of light he was contained in... knowing that this was the Zohar Relic that the ISC had often mentioned.

Which he rarely seen since he was focus on sabotaging the covenant mostly he's in enemy territory, disrupting their supplies, plans and terminating several important targets of the covenant army and navy to sow discord on the enemies.

Which had earned them the title demon from the enemy who are often on the look out of any spartan that may appear underneath their bed whenever they where going to sleep or other ridiculous rumor that was scaring Covenant forces.

Something that high command had took advantage and encourage their super soldiers to continue sowing nightmares to the enemy if it tips the favor to their side no matter how small the result was.

So long it helps them, then they're more than happy to scare the life out of every covenant enemy they fight, which did helped lower covenant morals and often cause their lower members to run away just from the appearances of a spartan.

This terror campaign did prove effective in demoralizing and often disrupts the cohesion of the covenants in battle... especially when they're overwhelming any covenant force when they're losing.

"Don't know, nothing in the facility's map show indication of where this cavern leads us." Cortana answered as the soft flow of air was felt by his armor which is an indication they have landed down.

"I do wonder why though... it feels like it's been purposely sealed off and forgotten." Cortana added, the light wrapping Chief entangled itself to reveal a large cavern with various fauna and bio luminescent.

"Cortana can you get a scan of where we are?" Chief asked as he gripped his rifle tightly that he luckily didn't lose, feeling a sense of danger ahead as his suit lights turns on, brightening up the place a bit.

"Sure can do Chief, just give me a sec, I'll see if I can find a way out." Cortana says before releasing a few nail size drones attached to the small pack on Chief suit, they flew off and began scanning the whole surroundings to find a way out.
