I turned to Kyanite who was watching me with those hard eyes. "You knew?" His voice was quiet.

"Of course, I know. We share a hoard and you risked yourself to save me. I know you Kyanite." As I spoke I moved closer to him.

He grabbed me roughly pulling me into his lap and holding me possessively. "Urg ruskpie en nrkpegi kthe nssth urg tespmi temm fithst urku squp nsqumn kpeg osquthe ushgurgp, Reina saj urg Ipkhsth jepeg." Kyanite's words were strange growling language.

The words were said in a gentle almost loving tone and I heard my name in them. "What does that mean?"

Kyanite watched me with his reptilian eyes and he smiled making the hardness in them soften. "Those are the words spoken in my tongue I haven't spoken in my home language since my kind went to sleep." The words! What words are those? "Reina the world is about to change. You will be by my side when it does."

"I will." Are those words like vows?

Kyanite looked down at me. Is he expecting me to say those words back? Kyanite sighed hugging me tight. "I wish you knew what to say."

So do I Kyanite. So do I. "If those are wedding vows then tell me the reply and I will say them."

He smiled widely and his eyes seemed to glow with his intense look. "Repeat after me then. Urg.."The word was guttural and hard to understand.

"Burg?"

Kyanite smiled warmly making his eyes change back to human. "In your language, it is spelt u, r, g."

"Urg?" He nodded and let me go slightly.

"I will wright the words down for you and then we will do this again when you can say them." He pulled a piece of paper and started writing words as I watched.

It was the first time I'd seen his writing and couldn't help but smile at the neat way he formed his letters. "I shall wright this in Dragon and your language There are some words that are written differently from how they are said. I will teach you."

He showed me the words and I read what they said.
