"I'm sure they will be fine. They have Wolf and Hawk with them, I remember fighting with Wolf once... he is feisty and he held his own against the humans that tried to take his family. With Hawk and Bear at his side, they will stop an army."

I nodded still feeling unsure. Kyanite held me tightly and whispered in my ear. "You never asked your question."

I sighed leaning back into the safety and warmth of his chest. "I wanted to ask you about the neckless and ring."

He chuckled his breath warmed my ear.

At least he is sure the others will be alright. "What about them?"

"Why do you keep them separate from your hoard? You did put them in there but now you keep them separate. You said they are for sale but.."

He sighed. "I will tell you that later."

I shifted uncomfortably and Kyanite put his hand under my shirt warming my wound. "Alright, I will wait." I said. He sighed softly in my ear. Was that sigh of relief or... "How long do you think we will be travailing today?" I asked letting that thought die.

"I think Tiger wants to move until dark. The place he wants to take us is on the other side of the kingdom. It will take a long time to get there. We may even find something before we get to that place."

Nodding I looked around the waggons that surrounded us. At some point, since we had said goodbye to the others we had moved into the center of the group. "We need a way to communicate if we get attacked. Like the bells the miners used."

Kyanite chuckled. "Look up."

I did as a large bird flew overhead making me flinch and then changed direction flying the other way. "I suppose that is better than bells." I said sifting again at having a bird fly over the top of me.

"They can signal us if they see anyone coming and can move us around them. Are you in pain?" Kyanite sounded worried at my movement.

"No, it's having something fly over me."

"All yaspilrmeth and humans are afraid of Dragons. No one will hurt you while I'm here."

I smiled watching the bird and remembering what flying was like. Kyanite's right. No one will mess with me if he protects me. Still.... I don't think I will ever get over things flying over me.

Kyanite offered me some dried meat bringing me out of my head. "You didn't eat much yesterday." I took it and chewed on it slowly. "You will tell me if you are tired or in pain won't you?"

I laughed. "You're as bad as my mother. Yes alright, I will tell you."

Kyanite squeezed me slightly. "Not like your mother, I know you will hide it from me to stop me worrying about you. I'm not going to force you to stop if you could keep going."
