Rat was muttering to herself as she pulled the cart along. From the sound of what she was saying she was making a plan. Once we were over the hill I let my arm drop. Dragon did the same and walked along smiling at the back of Rat's head. I slowed dropping back a bit.

Dragon looked back losing his smile. "You alright Bear?"

I sighed as Dragon fell in beside me. "I'm fine."

"Then why do you sound sad." I watched the back of Rat's head her long brown hair moving from side to side as she walked.

"None of us is in any fit state to fight if we need to and we can't keep calling each other by our beast names. We can't do that either, it puts us all in danger."

Dragon tugged on the leather strap that held the shield on his back. "I'm strong Bear. I have weapons and I'm ready to use them."

I pointed at his wound. "You're wounded and I'm tired. That leaves Rat to protect us."

Dragon smiled broadly. "I'm not too worried about needing to defend ourselves out here. I'm more worried about keeping Rat warm if we have to climb a mountain."

I looked at my box. "I have enough furs to make her something."

"If we walk to the meeting, how long would it take do you think Bear?"

I looked at the back of the mountain in the distance. "About three weeks... maybe."

"Hopefully I will be healed before then and we can fly."

Shaking my head I looked back at my box. "I think I'll make her an outfit just in case."

"Have a little faith Bear." He said smiling and looking down at me.

The cart stopped and Rat was waiting for us up ahead. If that's how far she can push it there's no point in her pushing it at all. "I have a plain!" She yelled back at us cupping her hands so her voice carried to us.

She picked up the cart and pushed it on. "Come on Bear let's hear her plain." Dragon increased his pace to catch up in time to help her push the cart up another hill.

Why am I letting these two pull me into their mad sceams?

I court up with them in time to see Dragon putting Rat in the cart with the box and take over pushing it. "Catch your breath then tell us your plan Rat." Dragon said pushing the cart along at a faster speed than she could manage.

Rat nodded sitting back and panting. She seemed.. energized for some reason. Like this situation was giving her energy to power through. Dragon pushed the cart easily even with the extra weight of Rat in the back.

Suddenly Rat stood and started rummaging through the box. "Something you need Rat?" I asked.

Dragon spared a glance over his shoulder before his eyes widened then he turned back to looking ahead. I frowned at the back of his head as Rat sat back down. "N... no... nothing."
