ZELLA'S POV

It's been two weeks and now, we are busier than ever because the finals is fast approaching. We barely have no time to hang out because most of our waking hours are spent in front of a book and laptop.

Eyah and I are doing well. We are stronger than even although we bicker a lot because she kept on making fun of me.

May saltik nga ata si Eyah, eh. Sometimes she's like a baby because she's to sweet to me but when she's bored, she's gonna make fun of me. Lalo na kapag napagtripan niya ang bangs ko.

So, we are here at the mansion for flu shot. We get this every year so that we will not easily catch cold or fever. Eyah, Nev, Thea and I are next in line. I'm seated next to Eyah, while Nev is seated next to her. The other agents Singh are already inside getting their shot.

"Ey, your hands are cold and sweaty. Are you okay?" I asked. We are currently holding each other's hand.

"Y-Yeah."

"Kinakabahan lang iyan, Zel. Ngayon lang iyan magpapa flu shot, eh." Sabat ni Ayah na nasa likuran namin.

"Shut up!"

Tumawa lang naman sila Ayah dahil sa sinabi ni Ey. Napansin ko nga din na ngayon lang siya pumunta dito. Dati kasi palagi siyang wala, eh.

"Don't mind her, Zel. It's just...." She suddenly stopped talking.

"Just what?"

"Nagpapractice lang ako ng new skill."

"What skill?"

"Water bending." I hit her lightly in her arms while she laughed at my seriousness.

"Stop kidding around."

"Kiss mo nalang ako." She whispered bago ako bigla halikan and laughed at my expression again. Smack lang naman iyon pero hindi ko inaasahan na gagawin niya.

"Smooth–" Sinamaan ko ng tingin sila Ayah kaya namutla siya at natahimik.

"K-Kanta kasi iyon, Zel. Yung sa BTS song. Smooth like butter, like a criminal undercover. Hindi mo alam 'no? Hindi ka kasi kpop fan." I just rolled my eyes on her.

"Althea, where are you going?" Eyah asked when Thea suddenly stood up.

"Home."

"Eh? Tayo na ang next, oh. Aren't you going to get your flu?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I love flu. And it's none of your business." Naglakad na siya palabas kaya nagkatinginan kami nila Nev.

"She's hurting." Biglang salita ni Athena na nasa tabi ni Zen.

Hurting? Saan?

"Next please."

We stood up when Zei's batch went out. I looked back and saw Eyah, she was still sitting there.

"It's our turn. Come on!" Nag snap ako sa harap niya na nakapagpabalik sa kanya sa reality. Our seats are facing each other that's why I can easily see how Ey's face became pale. She kept on tapping her hands on her thighs as we are waiting Aunt Akisha to inject the transparent liquid to us.

Ng matapos si Nev ay lumabas na siya agad ng room. Aunt Aki injected it in my arm, I didn't even flinch when she did it. When she said I'm all done, I stood up since it will be Ey's turn next.

Hindi pa ako tuluyan nakakalabas ng marinig ko ang mahinang daing. When I looked back, I saw Ey who just passed out.

EYAH'S POV

"You're awake?" I heard a familiar voice the moment I opened my eyes. Looking at the white surroundings.

Gosh! Did I pass out? Damn it!

Kaya ayaw kong ini-inject, eh!

"Y-Yeah?" I answered. Zel hit me in my arms.

"Sinasaktan mo yung pasyente."

"Patient your ass! I was worried!" I pulled her for a hug.

"I'm fine. Lagi din nangyayari iyon kapag may ini-inject sa akin."

"Let's go to the hospital next time and let's have some doctors run some tests on you."

"What? No!" Takot nga ako sa karayom tapos sa ospital pa.

"Why? Bigla ka nalang nawalan ng malay baka may reason kaya ka nawawalan ng malay."

"Wala naman reason. Natakot lang talaga ako kanina kaya nawalan ako ng malay. Takot ako sa mga karayom."

"You passed out because you were so scared? You were scared of needles all along? Am I hearing you right? That's why your hands were sweaty and your face was pale?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Oh My Gosh! Sa tama ng bala hindi ka takot tapos sa karayom takot ka?"

"Oo."

"You're unbelievable, Carter! You're so funny!"
