EYAH'S POV

Saying that I wasn't bothered when Zel told me that she will be leaving to new zealand next month will be a lie. Hindi ko din maimagine na magkakalayo ulit kami ngayon.

Pero kailangan, eh. Kailangan siya ng pamilya niya at kahit hindi niya sabihin sa akin alam kong importante sa kanya ang pamilya niya.

"Hoy wag kang tumakbo!" Bawal ko kay Zel na tumatakbo malapit sa may dagat. I watched her and laughed at her innocent and cute gestures. The happiness that she's feeling, it's just too genuine and contagious.

I brought out my camera and took a picture of her. Ang ganda niya kasi kahit saang anggulo, eh.

"Ey, thank you for bringing me here." She said. Our hands intertwined and her head was leaning on my shoulder.

This is the warmest feeling that I will never forget. Ever.

"I'm glad you loved it. Bili lang ako ng food natin alam kong gutom kana dahil sa pagtakbo takbo kanina na parang bata." I chuckled as I immediately distanced myself because I know that she will not hesitate to smack me for teasing her.

Naglakad na ako sa malapit na store at bumili ng pagkain pero paglabas ko ay wala na akong nakitang Zella.

Agad ko siyang hinanap at nakita ko siya sa gilid ng store pero hindi siya nag iisa. Meron siyang kasamang babae na nakasuot ng hoodie at meron din mga lalaking nakapalibot sa kanila.

"Gusto lang namin iyang babae sa tabi mo, Miss. Depende nalang kung gusto mo din sumama sa amin." Sabi ng kalbong lalaki habang may ngisi sa labi.

I saw how Zel clenched her fist.

"Wala naman talaga kaming balak sayo, Miss. Pero nangengealam ka kaya isasama ka nalang din namin." The one guy said

"Kunin niyo sila!" Utos ng isang lalaki na sa tingin ko ay ang boss nila.

Zel was attentive enough to the catastrophe nearing them. In an instant, she kicked the can that was resting on the ground and knocked one of the three men down.

The girl that was beside her was already hugging her knees, too frightened to move and help herself.

When a curly hair was about to throw a punch, Zel throw him a kick which made him bumped his head on the other side of the brick.

Para akong nanunuod ng action movie.

"Weak." Sabi ni Zel ng makitang wala ng malay ang tatlong lalaki sa sahig.

"It's okay. They're gone now." Zel assured the girl before she assisted her to stand.

I walked toward them. "They're nothing. Kalabanin ba naman ang isang Singh, eh."

"Kanina ka pa?"

"Sakto lang para mapanuod kung paano mo sila pabagsakin." Tumawa ako ng sinamaan niya ako ng tingin.

"T-Thank you for s-saving me."

"No worries."

"I'm Michelle. And if you don't mind will you please walk me home? I'm still scared."

Bago pa makasagot si Zel ay hinawakan ko na sa braso ang babae. I saw how Zel looked at me coldly by the way I acted.

She's really possesive.

"Sure. I'm Eyah, and this demon girl is my girlfriend, she's Zella."

"Demon, huh? I'll surely smack you later, Carter!"
