EYAH'S POV

It's been a year and half since Zella abandoned me, I mean us. She ghosted me! Nung araw na kailangan na niyang umalis, pumunta ako sa bahay nila pero napag alaman ko na nakaalis na pala siya.

The first two weeks had been so hard for me. Hindi ako makatulog at nagkasakit pa ako. But then Trix, Nev and Thea was always there for me.

And Zel? She never texted me or messaged me on her social media accounts while I'm flooding her with millions of my messages for almost a month.

Inexplain din nila Tita Seren sa akin kung bakit daw mas pinili ni Zel na sundin lahat ng gusto ng grandma niya kaysa sa kagustuhan niya. Naintindihan ko naman dahil si Zel ang heir ng mga Kim.

And now, I decided to start my photography business which became a top ranking company in a year. Pumupunta rin ako sa iba't ibang bansa para sa mga customer ko.

Si Althea kasi sa pagkakaalam ko pumasok na bilang actress. While Nev? She's a C.E.O. si Trix naman ay isang solo artist.

Madami ng nagbago simula ng umalis si Zel. Tulad ni Primo na nagkaroon na ng anak na si Phyton.

As for Zel, I don't know. I don't have any news from her but I often saw her on magazines and on fashion events hosted by Chanel, etc.

I am in Mexico because Levi called me that he will be having his engagement party. Levi is my friend. He's a businessman too and it was all because of his hard work and dedication. I admired him, a lot. He's like a brother to me although we only see each other during summer breaks.

"Namiss kita, Eyah!" Tili ni Trix bago ako yakapin. "I heard you're going clubbing the moment you landed on Mexico?"

"No, it's not that. Levi's gonna throw a party tonight. I think I might be late."

"Levi? Your friend? Sama ako. Pwede mo akong makadate ngayon." Sabat ni Thea kaya napakunot ang noo ko.

"You sure? Aren't you tired?"

"I'm not and I will never get tired when I'm with you."

"Tumigil ka nga, Thea. Mukha kang tanga."

"Ang harsh mo, ah." Tumawa naman sila Nev at Trix dahil sa sinabi niya. Buti nalalabas na rin nila ang kakulitan nila ngayon.

After an hour drive, we stopped in front of a fancy club. Lahat ng mata ay sa amin ang atensyon. Sino ba naman hindi titingin sa akin kung ang kasama ko ay isang actress?

"This way please." A man in a formal suit guided us toward a private space. We were welcomed by a loud music and the sounds of glasses clinking.

Levi welcomed me with a hug and he did a shakehand with Thea.

"You've got a pretty date, Eyah. Girlfriend?"

"Ah–"

"I'm Althea." She introduced herself which made Levi grin at me

"I didn't know that you're dating a celebrity. You really have a good taste."

"We're not–"

"We look good, right?" Thea gave me a playful smile.

"Of course! I'm a fan, by the way. I'm so honored to have you here at my party."

"No worries. Thank you for welcoming us."

"So where is the bride to be?" I asked

"She went to the rest room. Oh, she's here."

"Sorry, it took me long." I heard a familiar voice nearing me and it made my muscles become tense. My heart raced upon hearing the woman from behind speak. Mas lalong lumakas ang tibok ng puso ko at may mga luhang gusto ng tumulo sa mga mata ko. I tried to think straight. I kept convincing myself that I'm just hearing things.

But then, my instinct never failed me.

"Z-Zella?" My voice cracked when the woman turned her head and faced me. She was as surprised as I am.

It's Zella.

The Zella that I know and once loved.

Or maybe,

The woman that I still love?
