Chapter 9 - Training Camp

Because I passed my exam I was going to the training camp with everyone else, the only problem was that it meant leaving Keigo for two weeks.

"You'll be fine I promise Y/n." He assured me, his fingers touching mine and hesitating as we walked before we both pulled away.

Things had been awkward between us after what he had said on the medication that night. I don't know if he just remembered or if it was something else but it was weird.

At the moment I was busy packing my duffel for the trip. I already had most of my clothes but I was trying to decide whether I bring my locket or not given someone could see it.

Ultimately I decided on bringing it and was able to finish packing my bags just as my phone buzzed with a text from a new friend I had made.

His name was Koda, and while he was very quiet and pretty much the opposite of me, he absolutely adored my ears and tail so I was with him a lot.

He wanted to know if I wanted him to save me a seat on the bus or if I would just teleport to the camp. Normally I would teleport but Mr. Aizawa and Keigo decided I wasn't allowed to do that, so I get the joy of sitting on a bus full of annoying loud 16 year olds for like 6 hours.

"I'm leaving Kei!" I called as I headed to the front door. I was about to open it when a feather stopped me.

"Take this, that way I can keep tabs on you." He ordered while putting the feather, that happened to be on a necklace, around my neck.

"Okay. Don't have too much fun without me" I said before leaving.

I decided to walk to school for once. Maybe because I wanted to see a certain someone, but if anyone asks I never knew.

As I reached mine and Dabi's meeting place someone jumped on my back. It was a girl, a blonde with vampire fangs.

"Toga lay off, she's my friend not your next snack" I hear Dabi's gruff voice from the shadows as the girl hopped off my back and smiled crazily at me. Oh I like her.

"Hey Dabs, how goes it?" I ask, not realizing what I said.

"Damn Chesh, you sound more and more like the chicken nugget each day don't you?" Dabi teases, then turning to blondie. "This is Toga, she joined the league with me. Toga, this is Y/- Cheshire Cat."

"My real name is Y/n L/n. If Dabi trusts you then I do as well" I smile, a genuine one that few people get to see, as I stick my hand out.

As we shake hands she swiftly makes a shallow cut on my arm, then collecting my blood in a small test tube.

"Okay respect, Toga." I said, impressed she was able to even cut me at all. She smiled and giggled a bit.

"Get to school Y/n, me and Toga gotta head back anyways" Dabi ordered, shooing me away. I rolled my eyes and teleported to school.

Upon my arrival for once Iida wasn't screaming at me, probably because he was busy trying and failing to direct everyone onto the bus.

I hopped into the seat next to Koda and put in my earbuds, not in the mood to listen to the group of idiots that is class 1a and their bickering.

After 3 explosion incidents with Bakugo, 5 times of Mineta almost getting thrown off the bus for going under girl's seats, and about a million "Are we there yet?"s we finally got to our destination.

Mr. Aizawa and I were the last to exit the bus, him making sure everyone was off and me just not wanting to have human interaction today.

While Mineta ran around begging for a bathroom a black limo pulled up and two cat girls climbed out. I immediately have respect for them.

"Your feline fantasies are here!" "Purrfectly cute and cat like!" "We are, the Wild Wild Pussycats!" They announced, doing some weird thing with their hands that had cat paws on them.

"Class, this is Pixie Bob and Mandalay-" Mr. Aizawa barely got halfway through his sentence when Deku began fanboying.

"Two of the 4-hero team known as the Wild Wild Pussycats! They specialize in search and rescue! This is their 13th (maybe I don't remember) year working as a team and-" this time it's the green haired boy's turn to be silenced, though with a paw clamped tightly over his mouth.

"I'm 18 at heart!" Pixie Bob exclaimed as she glared at Midoriya who just nodded nervously.

Funny enough the cat woman's attention then almost instantly shifts to Mr. Aizawa as she and Mandalay begin to converse with him. Then her hands begin to glow.

The ground gives out under me and I let out a yelp as I teleport onto a tree branch behind Mr. Aizawa while the rest of the class rolls to the bottom of the cliff.

"Hey what the hell?!" I shout gaining all 3 adult's attention as I sit on the branch with my legs swinging below me like a child.

"Cheshire go down there with your class now, and don't make me turn off your quirk" Mr. Aizawa threatened, making me groan as I jump over a non-damaged section of the dance and slide down the hill, landing on my feet like always.

I sighed as I looked at the large monsters in front of me. This would be a long day.
