Translated extract from a Tudalen of Llyfrgell, composed by Dyfal Hanesydd.

The 57th Sylfaenydd-day of the year nineteen-thousand, three-hundred and sixty-one in Oes Ailenedigaeth. This will forever be recognised as the turning point for the Calan race. Once, the harbingers of Humankind's freedom, and now reviled by their very acolytes. Llywydd Cyson Tywysydd had no option other than to abandon the archetypal cultivation of the Universe for fear of losing the Calan's remaining eminence.

Resentment had escalated from all corners of Human civilisation. Nothing as vocal as the Swindlehursts of the Scorpius Chapter, an influential family of Kingdom with an objective to retake and consolidate an ancient birthright. Rumour rapidly diffused through the Chapter that the Calan intended to cease monarchal power over the system's inhabitants; a lie derived from the mouth of presiding matriach of the family - Elyssa Swindlehurst herself.

Although not all opinion on the Calan occupation was opposed, Gobeithiol Ysbryd - the intermediary of Calan-Human relations - believed animosity had flourished silently amongst pockets of Humanity. Discriminatory remarks evolved into doubtfulness and eventually became fear. They feared what they could not understand. The implicit trust that had once allied both species had severed beyond repair.

On the brink of decision, the Llywydd contacted the United Systems Senate for final clarification. Concurrent President, Esi Kristiansen, reiterated the friendship between races and, despite growing discontent, was reluctant to permanentely terminate cooperation. Tywysydd modestly claimed it to be a crucial moment for Humanity; a new independence beyond Calan support. It was not the denoument of Calan-Human relations, but an harmonious new existence.

Immediately following this declaration, Tywysydd decreed that all Calan return to Sylfaenydd without delay. In the transpiring of a single verdict, the Universe was altogether changed. The Calan resumed a position of detachment on their homeworld, while Humanity discovered their newfound autonomy. But only time can auspicate the future they will acquire.
