Bolatov: For the viewers just joining, I'm currently in the company of Lilija Jonas, head of the prosecution in the system-wide trial of the Ayad Banking Conglomerate and its chief executive officer. Good morning to you.

Jonas: Good morning, Sonny. Welcome to Shàngdi de Lĭwù again.

Bolatov: It's like I've never left. In my absence, however, a lot has changed here at the Suōfàng Wū. What was - not a Sylfaenydd-month ago - an accelerating process against the defendant, has now been stalled by the judge's orders. What does this mean for the trial?

Jonas: For the benefit of clarity, the judge has simply granted the Chancellor a temporary amnesty in the wake of what transpired on the Cunniculum Asteroid. If the defendant, at any point, believes that a period of bereavement will assuage any doubt of his integrity, or perhaps even lead to exoneration, he will once again prove his naïve understanding of the judicial system.

Bolatov: Does the Draco Confederation remain confident that their case against the Chancellor of Cadillac is water-tight, despite the condemnation.

Jonas: I'm not sure what condemnation you're referring to there, Sonny, but the prosecution is certain that justice will be served.

Bolatov: Other media such as the Draconian Signal and Cadillac's own CN1 Channel are claiming that your charges against Chancellor Ayad are politically motivated. The Signal questions whether this is in retaliation for the Conglomerate's withdrawal from the Confederation's corporate zone. What would you say to these claims?

Jonas: Unfounded. The Confederation allowed the Ayad Banking Conglomerate to withdraw from the governmental fiscal market. However, this does not protect the Conglomerate from accountability. Any exploitation of domestic economies must and will be prosecuted.

Bolatov: Lawyers representing Mr Ayad believe that you lack any evidence pertaining to the Conglomerate's involvement in the Greenpalm Union transaction.

Jonas: Details of the prosection's process are strictly confidential. However, what I can say is that we are targeting more than simply the Union's demise. The Conglomerate has been responsible for numerous fraudulent behaviour that will be addressed once the hiatus has completed.

Bolatov: Do you know when that will be?

Jonas: Hopefully no later than the end of next year. The Draco Confederation will not allow the defendant to avoid this trial.
