you came into my life unexpectedly
closed off and misdirected
your story still to be told
all your memories so cold
but you weren't shy
your voice may be quiet
but your mind spoke loudly
eyes bold and glossy
intensity in your stare
brought out your despair
your appearance
such a mystery
reminds me of a question
with no proven answer
everything about you
is a puzzle
no one will ever solve
or should solve
you do not deserve
to be misunderstood
