WARNINGS: Supernatural Violence; Implied Character's Death
Elijah sat up as Klaus, Rebekah, and Marcel entered the basement.
"Back for round two," Elijah asked, smirking at Rebekah.
Marcel nodded to Klaus and Rebekah, causing them to rush at Elijah. He pushed Rebekah back and wrapped his chains around Klaus's neck. Then he yanked hard, causing Klaus to struggle to breathe. Suddenly his neck was snapped and he dropped to the ground.
Klaus removed the chains from his neck, stretching it.
"Next time, Marcel is being the distraction," Klaus complained, tossing the chains on the ground.
"I don't know, Klaus. You do it so well," Marcel teased, picking Elijah up.
Klaus gave a fake laugh and rolled his eyes.
Axel watched as Elijah was set down in a chair, chained up. After Kol finished putting a spell on his current chains, he lifted his head.
"That's really starting to get annoying," Elijah mumbled, speaking of his neck being snapped.
"Are you sure you're ready," Axel asked.
"Nope," Klaus said, standing behind Elijah.
Axel placed his hands on Klaus and Elijah's shoulders. Then Klaus placed his hands on Elijah's head. Elijah soon realized they were doing a head dive. Klaus closed his eyes and allowed Axel to enter Elijah's head.
Axel looked around as he was in a white hallway filled with doors. He glanced at the white doors until he noticed a red, broken door on the far end. Axel walked up to examine it. He could hear screaming on the other end. Finally, he walked away from the door, assuming it was best he didn't go inside.
Axel continued looking around before he noticed he wasn't alone. He turned around, not seeing anyone. But there was definitely a set of eyes watching him.
Finally, the sound of someone bumping into a wall was heard. A little boy was seen, cowering in fear.
"Are you okay," Axel asked, kneeling to his level to be less intimidating, "It's alright. I'm not gonna hurt you."
The young boy slowly made his way over to Axel. Then he jumped in Axel's arms.
"What's your name," Axel asked.
"Elijah. Elijah Mikaelson," the young boy said, giving a faint smile.
"Young Elijah," Axel whispered.
"I'm not that young," Young Elijah said, pouting.
"I apologize," Axel smiled, "Who are you running from?"
"The monster. I can't stop him," Young Elijah said, his eyes growing wide in fear, "He's loose. He wants to hurt my siblings."
"I won't let him," Axel reassured.
"You promise," Young Elijah asked.
"You have my word," Axel grinned.
Young Elijah beamed at Axel and stood up.
"Come on. I'll show you where I'm staying," Young Elijah said, leading him by the hand.
Young Elijah led him to a cracked door and opened it. Inside a room was set up. There were pictures of the Mikaelson siblings. Above the bed was a window and in the corner was a sword with blood on it.
