AGRIM SHARMA'S POV:

The three of us sat down the dining table, a warm glow illuminating the room. The aroma of spices filled the air as mom served a generous spread of homemade Indian dishes.

My older sister apparently took this opportunity to tease me.

"So, Agrim, heard any weird news lately?" she asks. "Anything... out of the ordinary?"

I tried keeping a straight face and shot a look before responding.

"Not sure what you mean, sis. The usual day at school, you know."

"Come on, little bro, Don't play the innocent card with me." she whispered. "Any wall-crawling adventures today?" she whispered the last part so that mom couldn't hear.

I rolled my eyes, trying to keep the conversation under wraps.

"Shut up. We'll talk later."

Our mother, oblivious to the fact that her son can literally climb walls, noticed her children's silent exchange and couldn't help but feel curious.

"What's going on with you two? Why are you whispering like conspirators?" she eyed me with a hint of suspicion.

"Oh, just discussing the latest school gossip, mom. Nothing interesting."

"That reminds me... How's your friend?"

"Which one?"

"The one... you know?"

"Mom, they all lost someone close to them in the past month. They're all devastated."

"I'm sorry, honey. It must be tough seeing them like this..."

"It is..." I picked up my plate and took it to the sink, before washing it and putting it away.

...

THIRD-PERSON POV:

Once the dinner chatter had settled and the plates were cleared, Agrim excused himself and retreated to his room. Naina, sensing the weight in her brother's shoulders, followed suit, slipping into the room with a determined expression.

"Alright, spill. What's really going on, Agrim?"

Agrim, closing the door behind her, sighed. The playful banter from dinner had transitioned into a more serious tone.

"There's a rising crime syndicate in Harlem. They're getting bolder and more dangerous by the day."

His sister nodded, concern furrowing her brow.

"And you want to take them down?"

"Yes. I can't stand idly by when they've targeted my friends... I will take them down."

Agrim's sister, leaning against the door, crossed her arms.

"So, what's the plan?"

"We gather intel first. Find out who's pulling the strings. Once we have that, we expose them."

Her eyes sparkled with a shared determination.

"A duo operation, then. Sneaky and strategic. But you know, you can't just charge into battle wearing that flashy crimson suit of yours. Subtlety is key."

Agrim smirked, acknowledging his sister's wisdom.

"I was thinking of going undercover. Maybe a civilian look." His sister grinned, already plotting.

"Perfect. We'll play the game by their rules until we know enough to change them. I can help with the civilian side of things. Gather information from the shadows, you know?"
