The sully kids stood outside of the family tent eavesdropping on their parents conversation. Elei looked over at Kiri "we really have to leave?" She whispered wanting this to be some sick dream.

Kiris ears were lowered showing how anxious she was, "that's what mom and dad are saying right now" she replied. They both looked back into the little crack to listen to their parents conversation.

Neytiri stared at Jake as if he was an alien from another planet, "I got no plan, but I can protect this family THAT I can do" Jake told his mate.

Neytiri cried silently and Jake pulled her into his chest.

They began walking towards the exit of their tent so they all backed away and acted like they heard nothing.

Neteyams braids dangled in front of his face as he looked down and rocked back and forth.

Elei crossed her arms as she thought about leaving her home, everything she knew, and Aou'te.

Kiri squatted down and comforted Tuk who was worried, "tuk it's going to be ok" she muttered as she rubbed her back.

Elei shook her head and began to walk away, "Elei now's not the time to leave!" Loak shouted. But she ignored him and went to look for Aou'te.

It was eclipse so it was dark out allowing the plants and creatures in the forest to glow many different vibrant colors. Elei stared at the ground that lit up a light purple hue with every step that she took.

She was snapped out of her trance when she heard a few Navi boys laughing by a small camp fire. She saw Aou'te telling a crazy story, she rolled her eyes and brushed past him not too hard but just enough to catch his attention.

He noticed and turned around, he sat his bow down and excused himself from the group to go talk to Elei.

"Elei you will get in trouble being out here and near me you heard your father?" He reminded her. She turned slowly to look at him. "I see you" she whispered as she stared intensely into his eyes that were now green due to the darkness so he could see better.

He tilted his head a bit and placed a warm hand on her cheek, "I see you" he whispered. She placed her hand over his and nuzzled her face deeper into his three fingers.

"My family will be leaving tomorrow I just wanted to say good bye" she choked out trying to hold back her tears.

Aou'te took his hand off of her cheek, "you're not going right Elei? I mean what about us? The people? This is your home?" He rambled. Elei placed both of her hands on his chest silencing him.

His gaze softened and his body felt like it could melt from her touch, "I have to leave they're hunting my family I- um if you mate with another woman I will understand I- I just uh I don't know when I'll see you again Aou'te?" Her voice cracked as she explained.

The young Navi man wrapped his toned arms around her small frame before pulling her into his chest. "I see you Elei and only you" he whispered into her hair as he rested his chin on top of her head.

Elei smiled weakily and placed a small kiss on his chest, "when you get to wherever it 'tis that you go, send for me and I will come to you and bring you home"

Elei nodded and began sobbing not being able to hold back her tears. Aou'te had tears building up in his eyes but he refused to let them fall. "You do not have to pay for your father's battles, i will bring you home and we can start our own family here in the forest" he told her.

Elei looked up at him lovingly. "I hope eywa will make that happen" she whispered. He leaned down and kissed her slowly.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. Aou'te placed a hand under her butt and lifted her up.

He laid her onto the ground without breaking the kiss, Elei pulled away slightly, Aou'te pulled his braid over his shoulder and held up the end revealing his tendrils that swirled slowly, "be mine and I promise you won't have to leave tomorrow ma Elei" he said breathlessly.

The girl felt a lump begin to form in her throat. She closed her eyes and slowly shook her head, "no no I can not I am not even of age my dad will kill me i- I can't." She said before getting onto her knees.

Aou'te threw his braid over his shoulder making it drop down his back again, "if you are mine he can not take you from our home" he tried convincing her.

Elei ran her four fingers through her hair that had a few braids scattered throughout her straight long black strands.

"Aou'te I- I will decide tomorrow but not now okay? I need to go home" she mumbled as she stood to begin heading home.

Aou'te grabbed her wrist making her stop, "ma elei please" he begged.

She looked away from him to purposely avoid his gaze. "Aou'te let me go" she firmly stated. He only tightened his grip around her wrist.

"You are mine Elei, what don't you get?" He lowly whispered. The girls breath hitched in her throat and she swallowed hard. "Aou'te we are not mated therefore I am not yours" she calmly reminded him.

Her words only angered him, he let go of her wrist and turned away from her, "Aou'te just please understand?" She quietly asked.

The man clenched his fist as his entire face stiffened up, "go Elei, get far away from here. You will see and then come crawling back" he snarled at her.

She rolled her and and turned around and began to make her way home..and quickly.

The next morning came...

The ceremony for Jake to pass his title to tarsem was starting.

The leader must die, for a new leader to be born. Toruk makto will dissapear, and the people will be safe.

Tarsem let out a war cry before cutting Jake's chest. He grunted and looked away because toruk makto was a legend for him growing up. It was hard to see him running away.

The sully family made sure they had everything before saying their final goodbyes to mo'at.

Mo'at walked over to Elei and hugged her tightly. She leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "your true love is not here child, they are one with the water"

Elei didn't know what her grandmother meant in that moment so she just nodded before walking over to Aou'te and giving him one last kiss for who knows how long.

Aou'te held his head up high to hide his emotions resembling his father tsu'tey ateyitan, but the truth was he felt like the world stopped the moment he saw the woman he loved get on her ikran and fly away disappearing into the distance.
